    Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment, there is disclosed a method comprising: transmitting a first downlink channel via a primary beam within n slots, wherein n is a time between the transmission of an uplink control channel carrying HARQ information corresponding to the first downlink channel transmitted via the primary beam and a next time instance that a second downlink channel is configured be monitored from a secondary beam; receiving HARQ feedback within m slots calculated from a slot number configured to monitor the second downlink channel on at least one secondary beam, wherein m is time between a scheduled downlink channel and a next downlink channel monitoring instance via the secondary beam; and in response to receiving the HARQ feedback, ignoring a monitored downlink channel pattern and scheduling at least one user device using the primary beam on the slot number configured to monitor the second downlink channel on the at least one secondary beam.

    Abstract: Various example embodiments relate to methods and apparatus that support beam management in a small data transmission procedure. A terminal device may comprise at least one processor and at least one memory. The at least one memory includes computer program code stored thereon. The at least one memory and the computer program code may be configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the terminal device to report one or more available beams in a small data transmission procedure, receive a beam switching command to switch a serving beam for the small data transmission procedure, and switch the serving beam for the small data transmission procedure to a target beam indicated in the beam switching command.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided an apparatus. The apparatus causes transmitting, by a terminal device, a first message comprising a capability value set index and a synchronization signal block resource index, SSBRI, or a channel state information reference signal resource index, CRI. The capability value set index is associated with a sounding reference signal, SRS, resource set. The apparatus causes the terminal device to receive a second message defining a transmission configuration indication, TCI, state comprising a quasi co-location, QCL, -TypeD reference signal corresponding to the SSBRI or CRI or being quasi co-located in terms of QCL-TypeD with a reference signal corresponding to the SSBRI or CRI. The apparatus causes the terminal device to active or indicate the TCI state. If the SRS resource set is different from an active SRS resource set, the apparatus applies a pre-defined latency time between application and expected triggering of the SRS resource set.

    Abstract: Systems. methods. apparatuses. and computer-readable storage mediums are provided for enhancements to physical downlink control channel monitoring for inter-cell scenarios in case of a multiple input multiple output environment. In an example implementation. the method may comprise determining. by a network device of a communication network. to monitor physical downlink control channel candidates in overlapping monitoring occasions of two or more control resource sets of the communication network. wherein the two or more control resource sets are using at least two different QCL-TypeD on an active downlink bandwidth part of one or more cells: and selecting a first control resource set using a first QCL-TypeD and a second control resource set using a second QCL-TypeD for monitoring at least two of the physical downlink control channel candidates, wherein the selection of the first control resource set is based on common search space sets and/or user specific search space sets of at least one control resource set on active downlink bandwidth part of at least one cell that associated with one or more physical cell identifiers, and the selection of the second control resource set is based on user specific search space sets of at least one control resource set on active downlink bandwidth part of at least one cell that associated with at least two physical cell identifiers.
