Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may identify a set of resource elements on which to transmit a reference signal based at least in part on a numerology being used by the transmitter and at least one of a maximum system numerology or a minimum system numerology; and transmit the reference signal on the identified set of resource elements. In some aspects, a receiver may identify a set of resource elements from which to obtain a reference signal based at least in part on a numerology being used by the receiver and at least one of a maximum system numerology or a minimum system numerology; and obtain the reference signal from the identified set of resource elements. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reference signal monitoring and transmission for remote interference management. In some cases, an aggressor base station decides to monitor for reference signals (RSs) transmitted from at least one victim BS, for example, regardless of an amount of interference from at least one remote BS detected by the first base station and participating in a remote interference mitigation (RIM) process based on the monitored RS. In some cases, a first BS transmits reference signals (RSs) as part of a remote interference mitigation (RIM) process, in response to a determination that it is an aggressor BS whose downlink transmissions possibly interfere with reception of uplink transmissions by at least one remote BS, a victim BS whose reception of uplink transmissions are possibly interfered with by downlink transmissions from the at least one remote BS, or both an aggressor BS and a victim BS.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine a scrambling sequence for a control channel, wherein the scrambling sequence is determined using a same identifier irrespective of whether the control channel is associated with a cell radio network temporary identifier (C-RNTI) or another type of RNTI, and wherein the scrambling sequence is determined based at least in part on an identifier associated with the wireless communication device and a value associated with an RNTI of the wireless communication device; and transmit or receive the control channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

CONFIGURING WAVEFORM TRANSMISSIONS FOR PASSIVE DEVICE ACTIVATION

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An active wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), a network entity, or both, may receive or otherwise determine a resource allocation for communication with a passive device. The active device may select one or more parameters of a waveform transmission (e.g., a transmission power, duration, or both) for activating the passive device while accounting for a time gap between resources. In some cases, a network entity may configure a list of parameters including the one or more parameters via control signaling. The active device may transmit the waveform transmission to the passive device in accordance with the one or more parameters, which may activate the passive device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity (e.g., a user equipment) may receive information that configures physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring in a search space set. The network entity may receive control information that indicates an uplink transmission, wherein a collision condition exists between the PDCCH monitoring in the search space set and the uplink transmission. The network entity may perform, during operation in a half-duplex mode, an action in accordance with a collision handling rule, wherein the collision handling rule is based on the collision condition and the search space set.

UE CLUSTERING IN FL MODEL UPDATE REPORTING

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for FL model update reporting based on UE clustering. A UE may receive, from a base station, one or more criteria for grouping a plurality of UEs into a UE group for a combined machine learning model update. The UE may receive, from one or more UEs in the UE group, individual machine learning model updates for a machine learning model and transmit the combined machine learning model update to the base station based on the individual machine learning model updates from the one or more UEs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a multiple physical uplink shared channel (multi-PUSCH) configuration, assign a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifier (HPID) and one or more redundant version identifiers (RVIDs) to two or more slots associated with a first transport block, and assign a second HPID and the one or more RVIDs to two or more slots associated with a second transport block. The first transport block and the second transport block may be part of a single configured grant period. Assigning the second HPID may include incrementing the first HPID using one or more of a physical slot count, an available slot count, or a repetition number. The UE may transmit a multi-PUSCH communication in accordance with the multi-PUSCH configuration. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some systems, a network entity may transmit, to a user equipment (UE) while the UE operates in an active state, a control signal including a request for the UE to transition to an inactive state for at least a time period and including a set of communication parameters for subsequent communications after operating in the inactive state for at least the time period. The active state may be associated with monitoring for a downlink control channel and the inactive state may be associated with skipping monitoring for the downlink control channel. The UE may transition from the active state to the inactive state for at least the time period based on the control signal. The UE may subsequently operate in the active state after the time period in accordance with the set of communication parameters indicated via the control signal.
