摘要: A discovery signal transmission/reception method and an apparatus for improving energy efficiency of the system are provided. The discovery signal transmission method of a base station in a mobile communication system according to the present disclosure includes acquiring a discovery signal configuration of a neighbor cell, transmitting the discovery signal configuration to a terminal, receiving a measurement report including a result of measurement on a discovery signal of the neighbor from the terminal, the measurement being performed based on the discovery signal configuration, and determining whether to make a handover decision for the terminal based on the measurement report. The discovery signal transmission/reception method of the present disclosure is advantageous in improving energy efficiency of a mobile communication system.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for a wireless communication system in which configuration information on a search space for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is received from a base station. The configuration information includes information on a plurality of control resource sets (CORESETs) for the PDCCH. A PDCCH candidate set is identified for each of the plurality of CORESETs, based on the configuration information and an offset. The offset is used to adjust an index of a control channel element (CCE) in each PDCCH candidate set. The search space is determined based on the identified PDCCH candidate set for each of the plurality of CORESETs. The PDCCH is monitored based on the determined search space.

The method includes: receiving configuration information of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a base station; monitoring downlink control information (DCI) having a specific format in a slot, the monitoring based on the configuration information of the PDCCH; determining whether a number of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) received based on the DCI having the specific format in the slot is a number based on a PDSCH reception capability of the terminal; and in case that the number of the PDSCHs received based on the DCI having the specific format is the number based on the PDSCH reception capability of the terminal, stopping monitoring DCI having the specific format in the slot.

摘要: Apparatuses (including base stations and terminals), systems, and methods for supporting both wideband and narrowband communications are described. In one aspect, a base station supporting first type terminals operating on a first bandwidth and second type terminals operating on a second bandwidth is described, having an information formatter, a transceiver, and a controller. The information formatter generates a Low-end Master Information Block (L-MIB) and a Low-end System Information Block (L-SIB), which are transmitted by the transceiver to first type and second type terminals. The L-MIB includes control information on an L-subframe configuration for supporting a second type terminal and a sub-band configuration of the L-subframe, while the L-SIB includes information on downlink reception and uplink transmission of the second type terminal. When the base station receives a Random Access Channel (RACH) preamble request from one of the terminals, the base station performs the random access procedure.

The SIBx, received based on the first subcarrier spacing, includes information associated with a second subcarrier spacing for a physical random access channel (PRACH). A random access preamble is transmitted to the base station based on the second subcarrier spacing, and the random access response is received from the base station based on the first subcarrier spacing.

摘要: A method is provided in a wireless communication system, in which configuration information of a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) is transmitted to a terminal. The CSI-RS is included in a first set or a second set. A resource not used for mapping downlink data symbols is identified based on a first resource of CSI-RS included in the first set without consideration of a second resource of CSI-RS included in the second set. The downlink data symbols are mapped to a resource except the resource not used for mapping the downlink data symbols. Downlink data is transmitted on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to the terminal.
