摘要: Disclosed are a hose fitting comprising the following and a process for manufacturing the same: A hose fitting body composed of a head portion with a through hole made in the center of a pair of flat surfaces thereof, a base portion, and a sleeve all of which are formed out of a test tube-shaped substance by a plastic deformation, and a nipple integrally fixed on the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve. The hose fitting of this invention provides the following advantages of offering easy work for the bending the base portion, offering readiness for securing a necessary cross-sectional area as the fluid delivery hole of the base portion even when the base portion is bent greatly, light-weighted construction having a uniform wall thickness and requiring less raw material cost, and fixing nipple on the sleeve inner circumferential surface in a fluid-tight manner without brazing or drive fitting the nipple.

摘要: A composition for use in a chloride ion electrode is provided herein. This composition is made up of a mixture of an epoxy resin, a vinyl chloride resin, one or more solvents, a quaternary ammonium salt and hardening agents for setting said epoxy resin; wherein said epoxy resin and the vinyl chloride resin is used at a ratio of 8:1 to 1:2 by weight. The present invention also relates to a response membrane produced from said composition and a method for producing the response membrane by setting or hardening the aforementioned composition. When the response membrane is used in the chloride ion selective electrode, it is capable of measuring a sample containing blood or protein and by use of the response membrane, it is possible to selectively determine chloride ions in a sample with a high degree of accuracy.

摘要: The present invention concerns an apparatus for forming into shape one end portion of a rod-like metallic work such as a pipe. The apparatus comprising a holding member to hold the work, a split die composed of at least two movable die members, and a pressure die. Both the split die and the pressure die have engaging portions which move the split die in directions perpendicular to the axial direction with movement of the pressure die in the axial direction. The split die clamps the outer surface of the end portion of the work. Further the pressure die moves toward the holding member and forms the end portion of the work into shape between the split die and the pressure die. So, as set forth hereinabove, both clamping for the split die and forming for the work can be done by the one stroke of the pressure die. Thus, it is not necessary to provide two drive sources for moving the split die and for moving the pressure die, and therefore it is possible to attain simplification of equipment.

摘要: A light source unit includes an excitation light source and a luminescent wheel on which luminescent light emitting areas including, on a reflecting surface, red and green luminescent materials which respectively emit light of red and green wavelength band, when receiving excitation light, and a diffuse transmission area which diffuses and transmits excitation light, are aligned end to end in a circumferential direction. An excitation light incident surface of a luminescent material layer of the luminescent wheel has a surface with a plurality of projecting bodies. Regular quadrangular pyramids are arranged thereon in a matrix with outer boundaries of bottom portions of adjacent regular quadrangular pyramids contacting each other. The pyramids rise at a rising angle of at least 30°, and a length of one side of an outer boundary of the bottom portion of the pyramid is between 10 and 100 μm.

摘要: A method of evaluating astigmatism of an irradiation system irradiating an electron beam is disclosed. In this method, a figure pattern consisting of plural (for example, four) concentric circles is formed on a reference sample “WP” and an image (scanned image) is formed based on an electron signal obtained by scanning the electron beam onto the reference sample “WP”. In the scanned image, the image has a blur in a region with its longitudinal direction parallel to the generating direction of the astigmatism and the size of the blur depends on magnitude of the astigmatism. Therefore, the direction and the magnitude of the astigmatism of the irradiation system of an irradiation apparatus can be detected based on the obtained scanned image.

摘要: The infrared reflective device includes infrared reflective members which reflect infrared rays. The infrared reflective members include colloidal particles arranged at regular spacing, and a filler material intervening in the spaces between the colloidal particles. The difference between the refractive index of the colloidal particles and the refractive index of the filler material is set so as to be 0.05 or less in the visible light region and 0.1 or above in the infrared region, whereby visible light is transmitted while infrared rays are reflected.
