摘要:
This invention provides a digital television apparatus adapted to exclude channels of broadcast programs, in which the viewer has no interest, from an EPG display and improve EPG usability by providing short scroll capability through the EPG. The digital television apparatus includes a display device, an operating unit by which operating signals for various commands are input, a preset information storage in which channel skip information for channels is set, and an EPG information processing unit which, when the operating unit is operated to display an EPG, on the basis of an operating signal from the operation unit, selects channels which are set not to be skipped in the preset information storage and causes the display unit to display the EPG for the selected channels. The apparatus displays an EPG for only channels set not to be skipped on the display device.

Provided is a semiconductor memory device using a single-bit line method that determines read operation timing in accordance with operation of a replica bit line. Further provided is a control method for the semiconductor memory device. Even when a transistor property fluctuation has occurred, the semiconductor memory device and the control method are capable of preventing, for example, increases in access time and circuit size and concurrently capable of reducing the occurrence probability of data readout error. The gate lengths of replica memory cell transistors are set as being values greater than the gate length of memory cell transistors. Thereby, a distribution center of a current drive capability distribution of the replica memory cell transistors is set lower than a distribution center of a current drive capability distribution of the memory cell transistors. Consequently, an occurrence probability of a delay in a voltage-fall start time on a regular data line can be reduced to be lower in comparison to a transmission timing of a latch control signal.

An inkjet recording ink comprising an aqueous medium having dissolved or dispersed therein a magenta dye selected from azo dyes, wherein the magenta dye is a dye having an oxidation potential more positive than 1.0 V (vs SCE) and at the same time, a water-miscible organic solvent having a vapor pressure of 2,000 Pa or less at 20° C. is contained; and an inkjet recording method using the ink. By virtue of such a constitution, an inkjet recording ink and an inkjet recording method are provided, which can ensure high ejection stability, good color hue of the obtained image, no drying of the ink at the ink jet head, excellent fastness to light and water, image quality free from defective such as fineline bleeding under high-humidity condition, and good preservability of the image under severe conditions, and furthermore can ensure high storability and high ejection stability even after aging for a long time or under severe conditions.

An ink for ink jet recording having a phthalocyanine dye dissolved and/or dispersed in an aqueous medium, characterized in that the aforementioned phthalocyanine dye is a water-soluble dye having an oxidation potential of more positive than 1.0 and the conductivity of the aforementioned ink is from not 0.01 S/m to not greater than 10 S/m. A process for the production of the aforementioned ink for ink jet recording which comprises a step of applying ultrasonic vibration and/or a step of filtering using a filter having pores of an effective diameter of not greater than 1 μm and defoaming the ink and an ink jet recording process using these inks. In accordance with such a constitution, an ink for ink jet recording and an ink jet recording process can be provided which exhibit a high ejection stability, give an image having an excellent hue and preservability (weathering resistance, water resistance) and provide an image with a high quality.

A structure member includes a first plate member formed from a thin metal plate and having a plurality of frusto-pyramid projections arranged in a staggered fashion, and a second plate member formed from a thin metal plate and having a plurality of frusto-pyramid projections having dimensions different from those of the projections of the first plate member and arranged in a staggered fashion. The first and second plate members are overlapped in such a manner that tip ends of the frusto-pyramid projections of the plate members are opposed to each other but are not overlapped with each other, and overlapped and contacted portions are joined together to form a single plate body.

An image reader including: a scanning mechanism section for holding an imaging optical unit and a solid-state image pick-up device, and for rotating the imaging optical unit and the solid-state image pick-up device in an arbitrary direction and another direction orthogonal to that arbitrary direction respectively, so that an original image can be picked up with an arbitrary resolution while being segmented into a plurality of pieces; and a control section for driving the scanning mechanism section in accordance with the original image and for synthesizing the segmented image to produce original image data. As a result of this construction, the image reader is down-sized and does not require that the original be placed on the platen glass facedown and at a predetermined position, to dispense with the conventionally required complicated operation.
