The base station apparatus includes a mapping unit mapping a reference signal, a primary broadcasting signal, a synchronization signal, and an L1/L2 control signal onto a predetermined signal format; and a transmission unit transmitting the mapped signals, in which, within a sub-frame, the mapping unit maps the L1/L2 control signal and the primary broadcasting signal so as to be time-domain multiplexed, maps the primary broadcasting signal and the synchronization signal within a predetermined bandwidth in a middle of a system bandwidth, maps a reference signal included in a predetermined transmission stream within the predetermined bandwidth, but does not map a reference signal included in a transmission stream other than the predetermined transmission stream within the predetermined bandwidth.

摘要： A transmitting device includes a transmission signal generating unit configured to generate a transmission signal by inverse-Fourier-transforming reference signals and data signals mapped to subcarriers and a transmitting unit configured to wirelessly transmit the transmission signal. In the transmitting device, a total power level allocated to signals to be transmitted in a time slot is equal to a total power level allocated to signals to be transmitted in any other time slot, and a power density per unit bandwidth of the reference signals is greater than a power density per unit bandwidth of the data signals. This configuration makes it possible to equalize the total transmission power level of all time slots and thereby to improve the power amplification efficiency. Also, with this configuration, since the reference signals are transmitted with a higher power than that for other signals, it is possible to improve the accuracy of channel estimation.

The multiplexing portion multiplexes the shared control channel including control information necessary for demodulation of the shared data channel including a payload and the common pilot channel to be used by plural users in a frequency direction, and the shared data channel in a time direction with respect to the common pilot channel and the shared control channel. Even when the number of symbols composing a transmission time interval (TTI) is reduced, transmission efficiency of channels excluding the common pilot channel can be maintained by reducing insertion intervals of the common pilot channel accordingly.
