Abstract:
Provided is a sealing gasket for a utensil for cooking food under pressure, the utensil includes a vessel on which a lid is designed to be mounted; a sealing gasket interposed between the vessel and the lid for sealing the utensil in operation; and centering means designed to center the gasket relative to the vessel and to the lid. The sealing gasket includes a peripheral band and a peripheral under-band extending under the peripheral band and extending it, and centering means provided in or disposed in the gasket in such a manner that said centering means can come to be interposed between the lid and the vessel while the lid is being put into place on the vessel so as to form a centering abutment. The centering means being formed by a plurality of local extra-thickness zones, situated on the inside face of said peripheral under-band and designed to come into contact with the vessel. The utensil is a pressure cooker.
Abstract:
Cooking article (1) consists of a vessel (3) with a bottom surface (4) and a lateral surface (5), and at least one handle (10) and 11) attached to lateral surface (5) formed by assembly one (20) and assembly two (40), with each assembly (20 and 40) connected to vessel (3) to pivot between a storage position and a working position in which the two assemblies (20 and 40) form a single unit extending radially to lateral surface (5). Each assembly (20 and 40) is essentially aligned with the lateral surface (5) and assembly two (40) contains a gripping section (47) which extends above vessel (3) to allow a user to hold the cooking article (1) when inserting it into or removing it from a similar, slightly larger cooking article (2).
Abstract:
A method for measuring a quantity of coffee MNi or MTi that a grinding burr of a coffee mill driven in rotation by a motor dispenses in a predetermined number of revolutions Ni of the grinding burr or in a predetermined time interval Ti. According to the method: the average speed Vi of the grinding burr in a number of revolutions Ni or respectively in a time interval Ti is measured; and the quantity or mass MNi of coffee dispensed in the number of revolutions Ni or respectively the mass MTi of coffee dispensed in the time interval Ti is deduced as a function of the speed Vi from an experimentally obtained stored correspondence table (Vi, MNi) or (Vi, MTi).
Abstract:
A steam hairdressing apparatus to style the hair, including: a first and a second jaw arranged facing one another, a first treatment surface borne by the first jaw and a second treatment surface borne by the second jaw, the surfaces intended to grasp a lock of hair, a reservoir of liquid, a means of vaporization of the liquid in fluid communication with the reservoir, a steam distribution means in communication with the means of vaporization, comprising one or more steam distribution orifices in the direction of a lock of hair, the means of vaporization comprising a first vaporization chamber forming a unique volume, a second vaporization chamber equipped with a plurality of baffles, said chambers in fluid communication, the internal volume (V1) of the first chamber being greater than the internal volume (V2) of the second chamber.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for frying food that comprises mixing said food with a fatty material in a cooking housing in association with the ventilation of said cooking housing and the heating of said cooking housing heating means capable of heating by radiation. The method comprises limiting the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means during an initial food drying and cooking step, and increasing the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means during a following food colouring step. The cooking apparatus comprising a cooking housing associated with food mixing means, with heating means capable of heating by radiation and with ventilation means, and to means for modulating the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means.
Abstract:
A hair-care device includes at least: two jaws, first jaw and second jaw, which are elongated and hinged together so as to be able to shift between an open position and a closed position in which opposing working surfaces define a hair treatment region, and electric heating element attached to at least one of the working surfaces. The first jaw consists of at least one friction bar which is able to move along an adjacent working surface and which is adapted to engage with an opposing element of second jaw to create, when the jaws are closed, a traction region which generates a traction force which exceeds the traction force generated by the treatment region as the device is moved over a lock of hair.
Abstract:
A food cooking surface for a cooking appliance, a method of producing that surface and a method of cooking food with a cooking appliance having that food cooking surface. The food cooking surface is made of a metal alloy of zirconium and of at least another metal, the zirconium content is not less than 75 wt %. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the alloy contains less than 10 wt % of elements added to zirconium.
Abstract:
A culinary vessel lid in the form of a cover that is adapted for covering the vessel and that includes a transparent covering part, a metal covering part provided with through openings intended for draining foods and a silicone retaining ring.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical cooking apparatus (1) comprising a base (2), a cooking plate (3) separable from base (2), an electrical heating resistance (4) integral with cooking plate (3), and electrical connectors (5) borne by base (2) and adapted to be connected to electrical heating resistance (4), base (2) bearing an extracting member (7) movable between a rest position and an extraction position, and adapted to, when displaced from the rest position to the extraction position thereof, cause the disconnection of electrical resistance (4) from connectors (5) and the release of cooking plate (3) from base (2).According to the invention, cooking plate (3) is movable from a cooking position in which electrical resistance (4) is connected to connectors (5), and a released position in which electrical resistance (4) is disconnected therefrom, and the extracting member (7) is adapted to move cooking plate (3) from the cooking position to the released position thereof when moved from its rest position to its extraction position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an appliance (1) for cooking food, the appliance comprising firstly a receptacle (2) for containing the food and secondly a blade (8) placed within the receptacle (2), said receptacle (2) and blade (8) being designed to be driven with relative rotary motion so as to stir the food in the receptacle (2), the appliance being characterized in that the blade (8) includes turnover means (13) shaped to act under the effect of the relative rotary motion to cause at least a fraction of the food to turn over in a turnover direction (D) that presents, in the plane of the rotary motion, a majority component that is radial.
