摘要： Disclosed herein is a cooking system for cooking food, the cooking system is functional in a plurality of cooking modes. The cooking system including a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive a food container. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to the hollow chamber. A lid is movable relative to the housing and at least one heating element is associated with said lid. In a first cooking mode of the plurality of cooking modes, the at least one heating element is open to airflow between the at least one heating element and the hollow chamber, and in a second cooking mode, the at least one heating element is closed to airflow between the at least one heating element and the hollow chamber.

摘要： A can cooker includes a main body that is generally cylindrical in shape having a bottom portion, wall portion, neck portion, and lid ring. The bottom portion, wall portion, and neck portion may be integrally formed and connected to one another. A lid is sized and shaped to fit within a part of the neck portion. The lid includes an outer lip that engaged with lid ring on the main body in such a way that a seal is formed between the lid ring and the outer lip. Handles may be placed on the exterior surface of the lid and main body to ease use and transportation of the can cooker. An interior portion of the main body may be formed with an interior coating and an exterior portion of the main body may be formed with an exterior coating.

摘要： An improved pressure cooker design including a two-piece handle utilizing a common connection point to a cover to increase resistance to damage due to over tightening of connecting screws while simultaneously allowing the use of a conventional handle size with a reduction in overall packaging size. The two-piece handle design includes a cover base portion and a cover grip portion wherein a pair of nuts are mounted within the cover base portion to receive coupling screws at both ends of the nuts for joining the cover and the cover grip portion to the cover base portion. Tightening of the coupling screws provides for continuous metal on metal contact eliminating damage to weaker polymeric materials while allowing a consumer to quickly and easily attach the cover grip portion of the two-piece handle to the cover base portion at a point of use so as reduce overall packaging dimensions.

摘要： The invention concerns a steam pressure cooking pot consisting of a container accommodating the product to be cooked, a cover with safety valve capable of being placed thereupon, a locking means clamping container and cover to one another in the closed condition, and a seal disposed between cover and container securing the inside space of the pot against a drop in pressure in the closed condition, with a sealing lip of the seal pointing radially inwardly lying against the cover or the container which, upon pressing down on the cover in the direction toward the container, lifts off from the sealing emplacement on the cover or on the container, and with the cover or container, upon subsequent movement of the cover into the opening condition, executing a relative movement toward the sealing lip. Disposed radially outside the edge of the sealing lip, between the sealing lip and the cover or the container, is a slide element that acts as a levered support for the lifting movement of the sealing lip.
