There is provided simultaneous measurement of at least a parameter of a base-cutting set, of at least a parameter of a chopping assembly, and of a position of at least a floating roller of a conveyance system. Based on comparisons of the parameters measured and reference values, during a pre-defined time interval, it is possible to manage a propulsion speed of the machine harvester and to manage a rotation speed of cutting disks of the base-cutting set and of billet-cutting blades of the chopping assembly.

    摘要: A control system and method is provided for controlling the operational configuration of a spout of a harvester being used to perform unload on the go operations with an associated transport vehicle. The velocities of the harvester and transport vehicle and the lateral and longitudinal distances between the harvester and transport vehicle are used to predict future lateral and longitudinal distances between the harvester and transport vehicle. A control signal is issued to a harvester spout control system if either of the predicted lateral distance or longitudinal distance is outside of an associated acceptable range. The harvester spout control system then either shuts off the spout or changes the orientation of the spout in response to the control signal.

The measurement device includes at least one optical detection unit disposed at the crop flow for detecting light reflected by the crop and an evaluation unit for evaluating the spectrum of the detected light in order to derive properties of the crop. The evaluation unit is disposed at a position of the harvesting machine that is decoupled from mechanical loading by the crop flow to the greatest extent possible and is connected to the detection unit by way of at least one optical waveguide.

    摘要: A yield monitoring system for a grain harvester includes a large strike plate mounted on parallel four bar linkages. The strike plate intercepts a larger portion of the clean grain flow and is supported near the four corners to provide even translation and force transmission even if not struck in the center of the plate. The four bar linkages provide translational movement relative to a center load cell. An engagement bracket at the center of the strike plate includes a surface that is aligned perpendicularly to the sensing element of the load cell.

    摘要: A forage harvester has an engine which is drivingly connected to a chopper cylinder via first drive belt, and to a first end of a drive shaft of a discharge accelerator. A second end of the drive shaft of the discharge accelerator is drivingly connected to a kernel processor via a second drive belt, is arranged, in the direction of harvested material flow, between the chopper cylinder and the discharge accelerator. The discharge accelerator comprises support disks which extend radially, and paddles. The support disks are attached to a hollow shaft enclosing the drive shaft, and, a sensor is arranged between the drive shaft and the discharge accelerator for the determination of the force transmitted by the drive shaft to the discharge accelerator.
