摘要: A residue vision system includes an image acquisition device configured for mounting to a harvesting machine. The image acquisition device is configured to acquire, during operation of the harvesting machine, information regarding a first pass in a field. The first pass is a harvested area of the field. During the operation, the first pass is laterally offset from a second pass in the field. An electronic control unit is in communication with the image acquisition device and with a residue distribution system. The residue distribution system is configured to be coupled to the harvesting machine to distribute residue onto the second pass and onto the first pass. The electronic control unit is configured to analyze the information acquired by the image acquisition device and to adjust a distribution of residue onto the first pass while the harvesting machine is harvesting the second pass.

摘要: A system for determining a crop edge and a self-propelled harvester using the system for automatic control are disclosed. The system comprises a camera that generates optical information of a front environment of the harvester. The system further includes a computing unit that analyzes the images using artificial intelligence so that a planted area of a field on which a plant crop is located may be delimited from a remaining residual area of the field, thereby determining the plant crop. In turn, the computing unit is further configured to determine the crop edge of the plant crop based on the determination of the plant crop and to automatically control the harvester based on the determination of the crop edge.

摘要: A grain tailings elevator for a combine harvester includes a an elevator housing having an interior containing a conveyor arrangement configured to transport grain tailings through the elevator housing to a discharge outlet. The elevator housing has a side wall with a window to the interior of the elevator housing. A camera having a camera housing containing an image sensor is mounted to the side wall of the elevator housing over the window with the image sensor in registration with the window. The image sensor is trained on the conveyor arrangement and configured to image the grain tailings transported by the conveyor arrangement through the elevator housing.

摘要: A crop constituent value is sensed by a crop constituent sensor on an agricultural machine. The crop constituent value is distributed among subregions covered by the agricultural machine. A vegetative index-estimated crop constituent value is obtained for each of the subregions. A weighted crop constituent value is generated for each subregion based upon the distributed constituent value for each subregion and the vegetative index-estimated constituent value for that subregion. An action signal is generated based upon the weighted crop constituent value for the subregion.

摘要: A method of collecting material with a harvester when a storage vehicle is spaced from the harvester includes moving material from the field into the basket, actuating the conveyor for a first time period when the sensed parameter is above the set amount, transporting a first portion of the material a first distance with the actuated conveyor, after the first time period has elapsed, stopping the conveyor to store the first portion of the material on the conveyor, after the first time period has elapsed, if the conveyor can store more material, actuating the conveyor for a second time period, transporting a second portion of the material a second distance with the actuated conveyor and transporting the first portion of the material a third distance with the actuated conveyor, and if the conveyor cannot store more material, alerting an operator that the conveyor is full.

The counter knives and/or the rasp bar arrangement can be moved into a partial stream passing by the chopper. The harvester also has a crop spreading device configured for spreading the chopped-material stream emerging from the combine harvester on the ground in the rear region of the combine harvester, and a sensor unit configured for generating sensor data which represent at least one parameter influencing the spreading quality of the chopped-material stream emerging from the combine harvester. There is a control unit that adapts the position of the rasp bar arrangement and/or the counter knives depending on the spreading quality.
