    摘要: An overall pharmacy system and methodology begins with bulk medications and supplements introduced into the work flow, individually packaged and assembled into med pass orders per patient and delivered to the long-term care (LTC) facility or other institution for patient consumption. The process according to one embodiment of this invention begins by converting bulk medications and supplements to packaged unit doses and ultimately individually packaged med pass bags for each patient on a 24-hour schedule. The various safeguards and measures built into this system increase patient safety eliminate waste and increase labor efficiency by reducing and/or minimizing the disposal of unused medications and supplements. The design of the overall system and its individual components allows for physical control of each unit dose package from start to finish without any unit dose package “free fall” in the system. This process is automated and does not rely upon manual sorting. The med pass bags are consolidated into the final shipping container and do not require manual sorting and packing.

    摘要: The present invention provides an efficient, reliable lumber magazine feeder that can supply large numbers of boards of all sizes. Some embodiments of this magazine lumber feeder comprise of one or more modules, each capable of dispensing a particular width of board. These modules may comprise a gripper/shuttle assembly, an overhead rail, and an adjustable lumber support. The gripper/shuttle assembly contains hydraulic valving to operate two hydraulic cylinders. The first cylinder grips the bottom most board in the stack by clamping onto the narrow dimension on a board. The second cylinder is capable of moving the gripper assembly in a push or pull direction, thus sliding the bottom board from its stacked position.The present invention may also include a programmable logic controller that receives electronic commands from an automatic saw, or the like. The controller in some embodiments receives electronic signals representing a desired board size from the automatic saw. The controller 34 then processes those signals and activates the correct module, which causes the feeder to dispense one board. Each request sent to the controller in these embodiments will result in one board being dispensed.

The rotatable hub is then rotated with hub driving means such that the bobbin core holder on the rotatable hub moves from the second end of the first chute to a first end of a second chute, the first end of the second chute being positioned adjacent to the rotatable hub. The second chute also includes a second end positioned adjacent to the bobbin winding device. The bobbin core previously received into the bobbin core holder is then dispensed onto the bobbin winding device by passing the bobbin core through the second chute.

A plurality of pipes are gravity fed through a discharge opening at a lower end of a magazine combining several columns of pipe. A selection member has a plurality of pipe receiving pockets, equal in number to the columns present in the magazine. The selection member can be in one of a first position wherein a first pipe receiving pocket is aligned with a first column or a second position wherein the first pipe receiving pocket is moved towards the machine. A pick-and-place lever arm picks a pipe from the first pipe receiving pocket and transports the pipe towards the machine. Lift-up arms selectively support the pipes within the magazine.

    摘要: An automated order system (AOS) having an arrayed matrix of product dispensers oriented at a compound angle with respect to an underlying gathering conveyor belt. Each dispenser includes a flexible belt ejector mechanism for dispensing products stored therein. The flexible ejector mechanism includes an L-shaped guide track that is mounted adjacent to the dispenser to minimize the amount of space required for each dispenser in the matrix. Thus, more product dispensers may be installed in the AOS over a given fixed conveyor length. Furthermore, the compound angle facilitates resupply of the dispensers and minimizes the likelihood of damage to an ejected product upon impact with the conveyor. A cartridge is also included in each dispenser having a trough and adjustable product shelf for aligning the product stack and properly positioning the bottom-most product for positioning.

    摘要: An apparatus for separating and sequentially conveying articles from an article stack includes an article accumulator in which the article stack is formed, a wheel, and a plurality of article pushers mounted on the wheel. Each article pusher has an article pushing face for pushing the article out of the article accumulator and is movable relative to the wheel into a first and a second position. In the first position the article pushing face is sufficiently close to the accumulator to abut and carry an article as the pusher passes by the accumulator and in the second position the article pushing face is sufficiently remote from the accumulator to move past the stack without abutting an article as the article pusher passes by the accumulator. Further, a control device moves selected article pushers into the second position prior to reaching the accumulator. A device resets the article pushers into the first position after having passed the accumulator. There is further provided an article ejecting device for moving each article away from the wheel after the article has been carried from the accumulator.

    摘要: An adapter device for a cigarette package dispensing machine for modifying the dispensing machine to dispense thinner sized packages than the dispensing machine was originally designed to dispense. Typical cigarette package dispenser machines include column support magazines for containing stacked cigarette packages of a predetermined size. The open bottom dispensing end of the magazine is spaced above a horizontal package receiving deck by a distance approximately equal to the thickness of a cigarette package of predetermined size. Cigarette packages are dispensed one at a time from the magazine onto the receiving deck. A plunger moves over the receiving deck beneath the bottom dispensing end of the magazine to push the package from the receiving deck toward a package discharge opening. The adapter includes a panel which is pivotably connected to the plunger for movement with the plunger beneath the dispensing end of the magazine as the plunger moves to prevent more than one thinner sized package from being dispensed at a time from the magazine.

    摘要: A clip dispenser for dispensing resilient, generally U-shaped plastic clips. The clips are useful in holding closed the folded over ends of a paperboard container for a foodstuff, such as a portable liquid. The dispenser is in the general form of a vertically disposed rack having a horizontal lower portion, the horizontal lower portion being twisted at about 35.degree. with respect to the horizontal. In use, a foodstuff container having a folded over and generally top portion is inserted upwardly into the endmost part of the horizontal portion to receive a clip. The container is then withdrawn, the clip pushed down upon the horizontal portions of the container, thereby concealing the container. The dispenser includes a reciprocating blocking gate for use when the rack is loaded with a new supply of clips. The end of the horizontal portion carries a recess through which the clips are dispensed, the recessed provided with a plurality of spring-urged detents which serve to maintain the clips in place.
