摘要: A stick distributing unit and corresponding method for laying spacer sticks over a board layer is provided. The unit includes a frame defining a stick-receiving area for receiving sticks and a hold-and-release mechanism configured to dispense each stick one-by-one. The hold-and-release mechanism includes a lower holding member selectively operable to hold and release a bottommost stick, and an upper holding member selectively operable to hold and release a penultimate stick. The unit also includes a controller configured to operate the lower and upper holding members to release the bottommost stick from the stick-receiving area and knock on the penultimate stick. The unit further has a stick-laying mechanism configured to receive and lay the released bottommost stick over the board layer.

摘要: A stacking machine for stacking elongated members in a stack comprises a frame and a pair of cooperating stackers mounted thereto distant from each other. Each of the stackers comprises a driven master wheel, a slave wheel mounted eccentrically from the master wheel, a stacking arm assembly concurrently mounted to the master wheel and the slave wheel causing the master wheel to drive the slave wheel and a stacking arm assembly mounted to the stacking arm assembly, the stacking arm assembly comprising a stacking blade extending substantially parallel to the master wheel and defining a stacking face. The stacking faces of the cooperative stackers define a stacking plane supporting a layer of elongated members to be stacked, whereby the layers are moved one at a time on a stack.

摘要: Provided is a stacking device that stacks shaped steel with small-scale equipment using a transporting means with a simple structure. This shaped steel stacking device comprises: a stacking platform on which stacked shaped steel is loaded; a transporting platform that has a plurality of loading faces on which the shaped steel to be transported to the stacking platform is loaded; and a pushing means that pushes the shaped steel loaded on the transporting platform out toward the stacking platform. The transporting platform comprises a first loading face having a flat portion and a second loading face having a flat portion and an inclined portion. The inclined portion is formed on a side facing the stacking platform, and the first and second loading faces can be selected according to the order the shaped steel is pushed out.

摘要: Embodiments of a system and a method for determining an edge hardness value for a cementitious board can be used to effectively determine the hardness of the board after it has been made and dried at a predetermined location, such as, at a stacking station, for example. An actuator assembly can manipulate a punch such that the punch is inserted into one of the edges of one of the cementitious boards in the stacker in a controlled manner. A force gauge can be associated with the punch to measure the resistance force exerted by the cementitious board in response to the punch being inserted into its edge. The measured resistance force can be used to determine the edge hardness value.

摘要: A high-speed stacker preferably includes dual stacking arms configured to operate complementary to one another. Most preferably, an electronic control system is provided to enable precise control over the speed and positioning of the stacker arms in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Linear motion devices (such as hydraulic cylinders, screw drive linear actuators, or other devices) can be used to position the arms horizontally and vertically in response to instructions from the electronic control system. In operation, the electronic control system preferably controls the speed and ramping of the stacker arms to repeatedly move courses of material from a feed system to a stacking area at a rapid rate with little maintenance. The high-speed stacker can also be configured to operate fewer than all of the stacker arms to facilitate faster stacking of smaller courses of material.

摘要: Sticker handling apparatus include an actuating assembly that operatively supports one or more sticker support brackets. The actuating assembly includes a first actuator and a second actuator. The first actuator is configured to impart motion to the sticker support bracket in a first dimension and the second actuator is configured to impart motion to the sticker support bracket in a second dimension different from the first dimension. The actuating assembly can thus be selectively actuated to move the one or more sticker support brackets in a manner such that one or more stickers are contacted and lifted by respective sticker support brackets and moved from a sticker in-feed conveyor to respective sticker trays supported on respective fork arms with no substantial rotation of the one or more sticker support brackets.
