    摘要: A workpiece supply system for supplying a workpiece to a target device includes: a robot mount carriage including a manually-moved carriage having a plurality of wheels, a robot mounted on the carriage, and a controller controlling the robot; and a manually-moved workpiece storage carriage having a plurality of wheels and including a workpiece storage storing the workpiece. One of the robot mount carriage and workpiece storage carriage includes one of a pair of associators for associating them with each other, and the other of the robot mount carriage and workpiece storage carriage includes the other of the pair of associators. The pair of associators consists of a camera provided on the robot and an identifier provided on the workpiece storage carriage or consists of an engaged body provided on one of the robot and workpiece storage carriage and an engaging body provided on the other of the robot and workpiece storage carriage.

In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a loader member configured to impart a loading force unto a work piece to position the work piece in a milling region. The apparatus can also include an effector configured to transfer the loading force from the loader member to the work piece and is configured further to apply a cleaning force to a path that the work piece traverses to the milling region. In some cases, the apparatus can include an ejector configured to remove a milled work piece from the milling region.

    摘要: A pick up and delivery system for use with mobile robots which have a body with a horizontal upper surface and at least one vertical side. The robot has at least one shelf, each of which contains a stop bar containing a retaining device. The system further uses multiple stations, each of which contain at least one pallet retaining surface to contain at least two pallets. The pallet retaining surfaces are provided with a holding device at the pick up area and a holding device at the delivery area. Pallets are used to retain the items being transferred with each of the pallets having a securing device that interacts with the holding device and retaining device. The strength of the holding device at the pick up area is less than the holding device at the delivery area, with the robot's retaining device having a strength between the strength of the holding devices. The mobile robot picks up a pallet from a first station, and delivers the pallet to a second station.

    摘要: The present invention provides an efficient, reliable lumber magazine feeder that can supply large numbers of boards of all sizes. Some embodiments of this magazine lumber feeder comprise of one or more modules, each capable of dispensing a particular width of board. These modules may comprise a gripper/shuttle assembly, an overhead rail, and an adjustable lumber support. The gripper/shuttle assembly contains hydraulic valving to operate two hydraulic cylinders. The first cylinder grips the bottom most board in the stack by clamping onto the narrow dimension on a board. The second cylinder is capable of moving the gripper assembly in a push or pull direction, thus sliding the bottom board from its stacked position.The present invention may also include a programmable logic controller that receives electronic commands from an automatic saw, or the like. The controller in some embodiments receives electronic signals representing a desired board size from the automatic saw. The controller 34 then processes those signals and activates the correct module, which causes the feeder to dispense one board. Each request sent to the controller in these embodiments will result in one board being dispensed.
