    摘要: A leveling and locating or positioning device is disclosed which includes a force-bearing structure which is guided for vertical leveling movement by a vertical reference device which also provides a horizontal position reference. Horizontal movement of a tapered wedge device, which operatively interfaces with a sloped floor member of the force-bearing structure, causes vertical movement of the force-bearing structure and the resulting leveling function. A horizontal extender device, slidably mounted to and supported by the force-bearing structure, provides the horizontal locating or positioning function. A support device is operatively included or mounted to one end of the horizontal extender device and is configured to operatively interface with the member or device which is to be leveled and located or positioned.

    摘要: An apparatus for use in supporting a window buck frame or surround against crushing and distorting when concrete is poured therearound. An open-type reusable support frame that is inserted into a window buck frame and clamped thereto so that vertical edges of the support frame fit closely within a central ridge extending peripherally around the inside of the window buck frame. The window buck frame is aligned between wall forms, and concrete is poured around the window buck frame. After the concrete has cured and the forms are removed, the clamps are released and the support frame is pulled from the window buck frame that remains in the foundation wall.

    摘要: A modular wall system comprises a plurality of wall modules in end to end relation, each module having a spring loaded ceiling channel engaging the ceiling and a floor channel frictionally or mechanically engaging the floor. The ceiling channel has a shallow upwardly opening longitudinally extending channel-shaped adapter plate on its top adapted to engage a strip secured to the underside of a ceiling tile support hanger for stabilizing and aligning the module. The ceiling and floor channels have sides formed with longitudinal grooves adapted to be engaged by a suitable dolly for contracting or expanding the ceiling channel away from or toward the ceiling to enable each module to be maneuvered into and out of position in the line of the wall.A wall comprising a plurality of such modules is erected with the aid of the dolly by moving each module one at a time in a tilted position to the proposed wall line or plane with the spring-loaded ceiling channel contracted toward the top of the module, pivoting the module about an axis adjacent to the floor into the vertical plane of the wall with the bottom edge of the wall resting on the floor, and releasing the ceiling channel under pressure of the spring bias until the ceiling of the room is engaged thereby, and repeating these steps with successive modules in end to end position with each other to complete the wall. The wall is dismantled by performing the steps in reverse.

    摘要: A brace for supporting a concrete form is disclosed. The brace includes a strongback couplable to an insulated concrete form, a platform coupled to the strongback, and an outrigger. The brace includes an adjustment mechanism having a casing portion coupled to the platform, a manipulable body housed within the casing portion, and a retaining body housed within the casing. The manipulable body extends through an opening of the casing portion and is coupled to the outrigger. The adjustment mechanism is manipulable by a single user located on the platform to reposition the outrigger to adjust a plumb of the concrete form.
