    摘要: A system for lifting a wind turbine rotor blade, including a wind turbine rotor blade, a lifting device having a sling, the sling supporting the wind turbine rotor blade at a longitudinal position where the wind turbine rotor blade has an aerodynamic profile, a leading edge and a profile chord arranged horizontally, and a leading edge protector having a front portion placed at the leading edge and a lower leg extending from the front portion and placed below the wind turbine rotor blade, wherein the front portion and the lower leg are formed as a sandwich construction having an inner top layer, an outer top layer and a core material, wherein a thickness of the core material increases from a free end of the lower leg towards the front portion in order to reduce a deformation of the wind turbine rotor blade at the leading edge.

    摘要: A hoisting assembly for lifting a load into an attic or lowering a load therefrom includes a hoist. The hoist comprises a housing, which has a drum or a lift wheel engaged thereto and positioned in an interior space defined thereby. A suspension module is engaged to and extends from an upper end of the housing. The suspension module can selectively engage a beam so that the housing is suspended from and removably engaged to the beam. A lifting medium is operationally engaged to the drum or the lift wheel and extends from a lower end of the housing. A connector is engaged to the lifting medium distal from the housing. The connector can selectively engage a load so that the load is removably engaged to the lifting medium. The hoist thus is configured to lift the load.

    摘要: Provided is a hoisting implement which can change a hoisting posture of a long object with a simple and light-weight configuration and minimize a possibility of occurrence of operational errors. The hoisting implement includes a first connection part and a second connection part disposed so that a center of gravity comes between the first connection part and the second connection part along the longitudinal direction of the long object. The first connection part allows a first end of the hoist rope to be fixed to the long object. The second connection part includes a link having a distal portion to which a second end of the hoist rope is allowed to be connected, a swing supporting portion fixed to the long object to swingably support the link about a proximal portion of the link, and a holding portion that detachably holds the distal portion of the laid link.

    摘要: A device for use with one or more lines that includes a unitary rigid body having an annular portion surrounding a central opening and at least four finger sections that extend from the annular portion of the rigid body. A first finger section and a second finger section curve toward each other on one end of the rigid body and terminate in blunt tips that are spaced apart from each other by a gap. Similarly, a third finger section and a fourth finger section curve toward each other on an opposite end of the rigid body and terminate in blunt tips that are spaced apart from each other by a gap. The device maximizes the pulling strength of lines while reducing the possibility of line failure. Also disclosed are methods of using the device for shortening a line, belaying an object, joining two lines together and for forming a V-bridle.

    摘要: An apparatus for adjusting an orientation of a suspended load. The apparatus includes a frame suspended from a suspension assembly. The suspension assembly has a first pivot axis enabling up and down pitching movement of the frame relative to the suspension assembly and a second pivot axis enabling up and down rolling movement of the frame relative to the suspending assembly. A first actuator extends between the suspension assembly and the frame. When the first actuator expands, a first end goes down and a second end goes up. When the first actuator contracts, the first end goes up and the second end goes down. A second actuator extends between the suspension and the frame. When the second actuator expands, a first side goes down and a second side goes up. When the second actuator contracts, the first side goes up and the second side goes down.
