摘要: A method for hydrocarbon production includes receiving data from a sensor associated with hydrocarbon production equipment, the hydrocarbon production equipment configured to extract hydrocarbons from a site, determining, based on the sensor data and a model associated with extracted hydrocarbons, multiphase properties of the extracted hydrocarbons, determining that a portion of the multiphase properties exceeds a threshold value, and controlling the hydrocarbon production equipment based on the multiphase properties responsive to determining that the portion of the multiphase properties exceeds the threshold value.

摘要: A sample while logging tool for downhole fluid sampling and production logging may include a sample collector sub and a sensor sub. The sample collector sub may include a body defining a bore extending from a first end to a second end. One or more sample chambers may be housed in the bore. The sample chamber may collect a fluid sample. At least one probe may be coupled to the sample chamber to measure fluid properties of the collected fluid sample within the sample chamber and transmit the fluid properties. A piston may be coupled to the first end having a gate distal to the first end. The piston may be actuated to open and close an opening of the sample chamber. Additionally, the sensor sub may measure and transmit data on fluids within a well to form production logging data.

摘要: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems and methods for controlling a hydraulic fracturing job. Systems and methods are provided for receiving diagnostics data of a hydraulic fracturing completion of a wellbore, accessing a fracture formation model that models formation characteristics of fractures formed through the wellbore into a formation surrounding the wellbore during the hydraulic fracturing completion with respect to surface variables of the hydraulic fracturing completion, selecting one or more subsurface objective functions from a plurality of subsurface objective functions for changing one or more of the formation characteristics of the fractures, the one or more subsurface objective functions including an objective function for cluster efficiency, the objective function for cluster efficiency including flow distribution throughout a plurality of clusters of perforations, and applying the fracture formation model based on the diagnostics data to determine values of the surface variables.

摘要: Light from a light source that has interacted with a sample of downhole fluid provided in a downhole optical tool is sequentially passed through a plurality of groups of light filters, each of the groups of light filters including of one or more light filters, to generate a data set for each of the groups of light filters, also referred to as a simultaneous channel group. The data generated for each of the simultaneous channel groups is then analyzed to determine if the data from that simultaneous channel groups is effective in providing information useful for the analysis of the sample of downhole fluid.

摘要: A method comprises receiving a measurement of a pressure in a subsurface formation at a number of depths in a wellbore formed in the subsurface formation across a sampling depth range of the subsurface formation to generate a number of pressure-depth measurement pairs and partitioning the sampling depth range into a number of fluid depth ranges. The method comprises performing a fitting operation over each of the number of fluid depth ranges to determine a fluid gradient for the type of the reservoir fluid for each of the number of fluid depth ranges. The method comprises generating a solution set of one or more solutions based on the fluid gradient of the reservoir fluid for each of the number of fluid depth ranges determined from performing the fitting operation, wherein each solution defines a partitioning of the sampling depth range and the fluid gradient of each fluid depth range.

摘要: A method of determining a fluid parameter includes receiving, by a processor and from a plurality of sensors coupled to a flexible tube, fluid information. The flexible tube includes a throat arranged in a first position with respect to a fixed end. The fluid information includes a strain or pressure at a first portion of the flexible tube and a strain or pressure at a second portion of the flexible tube. The method also includes determining a first fluid parameter of the fluid and transmitting, from the processor to a controller operationally coupled to the throat, second position information including a second position of the throat different than the first position. The method also includes receiving, with the throat in the second position, second fluid information and determining, based on the second fluid information, a second fluid parameter of the fluid.

The antenna may be positioned proximate to the body to measure properties using nuclear magnetic resonant frequencies. The antenna may measure formation properties in a first volume of a formation using a first frequency. The antenna may measure drilling mud properties in a second volume in a borehole using a second frequency.

According to further aspects of the technology, there is provided hybrid control methods for making adjustments to a respective well based on both site-level and well-level control methods.

摘要: A method for determining a hydrocarbon concentration from drilling fluid includes pumping the drilling fluid into a wellbore and circulating a sample of the drilling fluid uphole from the wellbore so that δ13C isotopic signatures can be determined for one or more hydrocarbon components and for methane in the sample where the methane includes natural methane originating from the earth formation and artificially-produced methane caused by drill bit metamorphism (DBM). A processor is adapted to determine the concentration of the natural methane in the sample based in part on the δ13C isotopic signatures which may be performed during the drilling of the wellbore.
