    摘要： A water turbine (1) comprises a turbine chamber (3), an inlet port (4) and an outlet port (6) opening into the chamber (3), and two or more rotors (11, 12) arranged within the chamber (3) with their axes of rotation parallel so as to be rotatable in the water flow passing between the inlet port (4) and the outlet port (6). Each of the rotors (11, 12) has two or more substantially equi-angularly distributed lobes (17, 18), and the arrangement is such that the rotors (11, 12) rotate in opposite directions with their lobes in mesh with one another under the action of water impinging on the lobes of the rotors. Such a turbine can be constructed to operate efficiently with a low head of water, and is additionally of simple construction and therefore inexpensive to produce.

    摘要： An oval gear pump for shear-sensitive fluids particularly suited for use in dispensing metered amounts of food syrups, condiments, or other thick or viscous liquids. The viscosity of some of such materials tends to degrade when excessive agitation is incurred. The gear pump minimizes such agitation by sweeping integrated masses of substantial volume between the inlet and the outlet. The pumping system also provides a flow-sensing device including a tubular magnet movable against spring pressure by fluid flow to an operated position. When the magnet is in the operated position, an adjacent external switch is operated to produce a signal indicating flow. The pumping system is particularly adapted for use in connection with ice cream dispensing machines.

    摘要： A semi-positive displacement pump of modular structure that includes a center plate, a pump defining housing removably secured to a first side thereof, a gear containing housing removably affixed to a second side, first and second impellers disposed in spaced relationship in the pump cavity between a fluid inlet and fluid outlet defined therein. The pump may be selectively driven either manually or by power means. The bottom of the pump chamber and the surface of the center plate most adjacent the pump chamber have first and second sets of aligned pressure relief cavities formed therein. The first and second impellers include first and second cylindrical hubs of substantial diameter that have their ends closely disposed to transverse center portions of the bottom of the pump chamber and center plate defined between the first and second pressure relief cavities formed therein. The first and second impellers have first and second circumferentially spaced vanes extending radially therefrom which cooperate with the interior surface of the pump chamber to define first and second laterally spaced confined spaces that force fluid from the inlet to the outlet side of the pump chamber as the first and second impellers are counter-rotated.
