摘要: The present disclosure deals with the regulation of fluid flows in the presence of turbulence. The teachings thereof may be embodied in regulating a fluid in a combustion device. For example, a method for regulating a burner device may include: requesting a flow of a fluid through a feed duct; assigning the requested flow to a setting of a first actuator; transmitting a first signal to set the first actuator; generating a mass flow signal representing an actual flow through the side duct; correlating the second signal to an actual value of the flow through the side duct; correlating the requested flow through the feed duct to a required flow through the side duct; generating a regulation signal with the regulator for the second actuator as a function of the actual value of the flow through the side duct and the requested value of the flow through the side duct; and transmitting the generated regulation signal to the second actuator.

摘要: The design and assembly of a smart device constituent of a micro-machined (a.k.a. MEMS, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) mass flow sensor and an electrically controllable valve for applications in safety enhancement and intermit connectivity for residential or commercial gas range is disclosed in the present invention. The said smart device detects the gas flow at the unattended situations and sends information to the destined mobile devices of the use via the network such that it enables the users to remotely execute actions of either shutting off the gas supply or call for relevant party's immediate attention. The said smart device shall also automatically shut off the gas supply should the transmitted signal to users failed to send feedback signal such that it can prevent the safety incidents due to leakage or overheating or even fires. The capability of the MEMS mass flow sensor shall also provide the thermal value measurement of the supplied gases and enable the user to program the gas range for making complete tasks of cooking substances in the unattended situation.

摘要: A method for regulating a heating unit, and heating unit, are provided. A method is provided for regulating a heating unit, and to a heating unit which includes a combustion chamber, combustion air being introduced into the combustion chamber via a controllable blower. A rotational speed of the blower wheel is detected. The purpose is to make it possible to ascertain an air volume flow with little complexity. The method is characterized in that a static pressure and/or a power consumption of the blower is/are ascertained, a volume flow of the combustion air being determined on the basis of the rotational speed in conjunction with the static pressure or the power consumption. For this purpose, the heating unit includes a rotational speed sensor and a pressure sensor and/or a power sensor.

摘要: A gas appliance monitoring apparatus for automatically detecting and alerting to a “gas-out” condition of a gas appliance during operation, and/or for alerting to the presence of prolonged “gas-on” conditions of an appliance. The apparatus utilizes a highly sensitive low loss and low flow gas flow indicator with multiple flow sensors to monitor the gas flow characteristics of the appliance during use. A gas flow analyzer and alarm timing mechanism analyzes the gas flow characteristics and sounds an alarm at the appliance or wirelessly at a remote location upon detection of either of the above conditions. A biasing attraction magnet is incorporated in the fluid flow indicator to offset either the force of gravity or a return spring in low flow/low pressure applications. The piston is sealed for use in high pressure/low flow applications, and provided with a vent hole for residual gas bleed-off upon a stoppage of gas flow.

摘要: Method for operating a gas burner, wherein a gas/combustion air mixture is fed to the gas burner for combusting in said gas burner in such a way that a combustion air flow, which is inducted by a fan, is mixed with a gas flow and the resulting gas/combustion air mixture is fed to the gas burner, wherein to this end a control device, on the basis of a control deviation between an actual value, which is recorded by a sensor providing an electrical or electronic measurement signal and acting on a gas line which carries the gas flow, and a corresponding reference value, determines a manipulated variable for a gas valve which influences the gas flow, wherein the gas valve is adjusted in dependence upon this manipulated variable in order to make available to the gas burner the gas/combustion air mixture with a desired gas/combustion air ratio, and wherein the control device alters the gas/combustion air ratio of the gas/combustion air mixture in dependence upon a rotational speed of the fan in such a way that at relatively low rotational speeds of the fan in comparison to relatively high rotational speeds of the fan the gas proportion is reduced in relation to the air proportion so that the gas/combustion air ratio becomes leaner in gas.
