摘要: An electrical connection is provided for connecting electrically transmitting cables and/or wires to one another or any other component in a manner that provides an environmentally sealed connection. The electrical connection includes an electrical connector for connecting electrical cables or wires that includes seals which are disposed in grooves in the threaded portions of the electrical connector. The electrical connector may also include a second set of grooves separated from the first set of grooves, in order to cause moisture and other debris to migrate away from the seals. When the end connectors of electrical cables or wires are connected to the electrical connector, the interior threads of end connectors cover and deform the surface of the seals to create an enhanced seal between the connector and the end connectors. Thus, the electrical connector effectively seals the interface between the connector and the end connectors of electrical cables or wires, such that moisture and other debris are prevented and/or substantially deterred from migrating into the interior of the cable or wire.

摘要: A method for interconnecting electrical conduits in an underground borehole by means of a self-cleaning downhole electrical connector with a static and a moveable connector part, including installing the static connector part within the borehole such that a central throughbore within the static part provides a passage for fluid and debris passage and for access there beneath after retrieval of the moveable connector part; and lowering the movable connector part on top of the static connector part such that pairs of electrical contacts of the static and movable connector parts intermesh and fluid and debris is discharged via the central throughbore into the section of the borehole beneath the static connector part. The connector may be used to connect a wireline retrievable electrical submersible pump (ESP) system to an electrical power supply line which may remain in the borehole when the ESP system is retrieved for inspection, repair or replacement.

摘要: An electrical connection box is to be attached to an attachment objective member. The electrical connection box includes: a circuit housing that accommodates a circuit substrate; a fuse box that detachably accommodates a fuse element, the fuse box being provided at an upper portion of the circuit housing in a state where the electrical connection box being attached to the attachment objective member; a plurality of bus bars that connect the circuit substrate and the fuse element; and a water-discharge channel that discharges water flowed into the fuse box to outside of the electrical connection box, the water-discharge channel being provided at a lower part of the bus bars in a state where the electrical connection box is attached to the attachment objective member, and at a position between the circuit housing and the fuse box.

摘要: A bulging wall portion, which forms a connector accommodation portion by bulging outward from a side wall, is formed in a cover plate portion of a cover. The bulging wall portion has an overhead wall formed such that it rises from the cover plate portion. A sloping wall is formed on the overhead wall such that roughly the center in the width direction of the connector accommodation portion serves as a vertex and the sloping wall slopes in downward gradients from the vertex toward both ends in the width direction. Water that flows down over the cover plate portion is caught by the overhead wall and flows downward along the sloping wall. The water is guided to both side faces on the outer sides in the width direction of the connector accommodation portion, so that it is drained off while avoiding the opening portions of the second through fourth connectors.

摘要: An in-line method and apparatus for making or breaking an electrical connection between a load circuit and a power source and locking same. This apparatus comprises a tamper proof housing with rotating plates that can be manually or electronically activated so as to connect or disconnect electrical current. When the rotating plates are locked in the contact position, the current flows freely. When the plates are rotated 90 degrees, the current is interrupted and locked.

摘要: An electrical junction box includes a lower case containing wiring boards with busbars such that the boards stand upright, an upper case combined with the lower case, upper and lower connection terminals extended from each wiring board and vertically penetrating through an inclined upper terminal supporting member and a lower terminal supporting member, respectively. The upper terminal supporting member forms part of drain path which has a rim formed at a peripheral edge thereof except for the lower end thereof. Water that has entered the junction box is guided along the inclined upper terminal supporting member, and then drops from the lower end thereof into a drainpipe of the lower case.

摘要: An electrical connection box for a vehicle has bus bars providing upstanding tabs acting as terminals, and relay terminals fitted on the tabs. An insulation plate overlies the bus bars. A case member is assembled on the insulation plate by relative downward movement and provides housing spaces for the relay terminals. A partitioning wall separating adjacent housing spaces makes sliding contact with an upstanding wall of the insulation plate during assembly, and the partitioning wall and the upstanding wall in the assembled state at least partly surround a liquid-receiving space. The upstanding wall having an inclined upper end face. The construction minimizes risk of a current leak between the relay terminals.

摘要: A medical connector apparatus that includes: (1) a first mating connector having a first conductive portion, (2) a second mating connector having a second conductive portion for electrically coupling to the first conductive portion, and (3) a housing unit with an interior chamber housing the second mating connector. In one embodiment of the invention, two apertures extend between the interior chamber and the housing unit's exterior. In another embodiment of the invention, the first mating connector further has a wiping portion for cleaning a portion of the second mating connector adjacent to the second conductive portion. In still another embodiment of the invention, the housing chamber further has a light source positioned near the aperture through which the first mating member enters to electrically couple the first and second conductive portions. In this embodiment, the first mating connector has a light covering portion for covering the light source when the first and second conductive portions couple. The embodiments of the medical connector apparatus described above can serve as electrode connectors for all types of defibrillators.
