摘要: Device and methods for enhancing visual appearance by muscle contracts are provided herein. The device may include a capacitor, a first applicator with a first magnetic field generating coil, a second applicator with a second magnetic field generating coil, a first switch to discharge energy from the capacitor to the first magnetic field generating coil to generate a first time-varying magnetic field, and a second switch to discharge energy from the capacitor to the second magnetic field generating coil to generate a second time-varying magnetic field. The magnetic field generating coils may be spaced apart from the casings to allow cooling media to flow. The time-varying magnetic fields may have a plurality of pulses with biphasic impulses, and when applied to a muscle in a body region, the muscle is contracted. The body region may be a buttock, an abdomen, arms, or thighs.

The system may include electrodes coupled to an implantable pulse generator (IPG), a handheld activator configured to transfer a stimulation command to the IPG, and an external programmer configured to transfer programming data to the IPG. The stimulation command directs the programmable controller to stimulate the tissue in accordance with the programming data. The system may include a software-based programming system run on a computer such that the treating physician may program and adjust stimulation parameters.

摘要: A method and system of sensitization of cancerous cells in a volume is disclosed. A plasma tube including a pair of electrodes coupled to a power supply is provided. The plasma tube generates a plasma jet between the electrodes. A controller is coupled to a power supply to control a discharge voltage to the electrodes to generate the plasma jet and direct an electro-magnetic field at the volume having cancerous cells and normal cells for a sufficient time to sensitize the cancer cells. A treatment device applies a treatment such as TMZ to the sensitized cancer cells after the cancer cells are sensitized by the electro-magnetic field.

摘要: Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) can be applied to a dystrophic muscle to delay dystrophy progression. A light source device can be contacted to a subject's skin proximal to a dystrophic muscle or muscle group. A light signal (with wavelengths from the red to infrared part of the spectrum) can be applied in at least one of a pulsed operating mode, a continuous operating mode, and a super-pulsed operating mode through the light source device to the dystrophic muscle or muscle group. The light signal is applied for a time sufficient to stimulate a phototherapeutic response in the dystrophic muscle or muscle group.

摘要: A central nervous magnetic stimulation device and a healthcare or medical instrument, wherein the device comprises a power source, a control circuit and a coil component, the control circuit comprising a main control chip and a main circuit, the power source supplying power to the control circuit, and the control circuit outputting a time-varying current to the coil component to generate a corresponding time-varying magnetic field. The area of the time-varying magnetic field matches with the size of a head, and the time-varying current is output at a frequency above 2000 Hz, and constitutes a string of rhythmic cluster-like bursts at an appropriate duty ratio or forms an envelope in a difference frequency way to output rhythm characteristics. The device can apply to the brain a magnetic stimulation with a weak intensity and high-frequency carrier wave, rhythmic cluster-like bursts and an approximately uniform magnetic field intensity distribution.
