    摘要: A chewable animal toy having an edible core and a tearable outer shell molded around the edible core such that a portion of the edible core protrudes from the outer shell is provided. Further provided is a mold unit for making the chewable animal toy having a first mold half including a first mold cavity and a second mold half having a second mold cavity. The second mold half is engageable with the first mold half such that the first and second mold cavities cooperatively define an outer shell mold cavity. A first pocket is defined between the first and second mold halves that is adapted to receive a first protruding portion of the edible core. A first shut off defined within the first pocket is adapted to surround the first protruding portion of the edible core such that it is substantially isolated from the outer shell mold cavity.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a formed article forming an upper surface of a forming material comprised of a thermosoftening substance into a desired shape by positioning the forming material on a forming surface of a mold and heating the forming material to a temperature permitting deformation to bring a lower surface of the forming material into tight contact with the forming surface. As the mold, a mold having, on a forming surface thereof, a plurality of irregularities with a maximum height Rmax ranging from 0.1 to 100 micrometers and an average spacing S between local peaks ranging from 0.01 to 1.00 mm is employed. The present invention further relates to a mold and method of manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, a formed article with a desired shape can be manufactured with high precision and high productivity by hot sag forming method without the occurrence of the fusion between the forming material and the mold.

The apertures are bounded by perimeter walls of varied contour orthogonally disposed to the flat surfaces of the billet. The bottom surface of the billet is secured to a flat rigid floor panel. Blocks are produced by pouring concrete into the aperture, allowing the concrete to harden, then breaking the polystyrene away from the blocks formed within the apertures.

    摘要: A method of stably producing a ceramic sheet with good quality, where the tip portions of convex parts constituting numerous wrinkles on the surface of the ceramic sheet are not in contact with each other, and concave parts are open. To produce the ceramic sheet, clay is placed on the upper surface of a stretched rubber sheet, and the upper surface of the clay is covered by a surface layer made from a material that burns when the clay is baked. The rubber sheet is contracted to form wrinkles on the upper surface of the clay and the surface layer. The clay is baked and the surface layer is made to disappear by burning to obtain the ceramic sheet. Thus, the surface layer prevents the tips of the convex parts constituting the wrinkles from being in direct contact with each other.
