    摘要: An elastically deformable fender comprising an impact receiving section having a predetermined thickness and a top surface being formed flat and forming a contact surface with a broadside, a pair of supporting sections extending from the reverse side of the impact receiving section mentioned above so as to diverge away from each other in an unfolded fan fashion and formed integrally with the impact receiving section, and fitting sections expanding outwardly from the ends of the supporting sections in parallel to the contact surface aforementioned. The thickness of the impact receiving section mentioned above is formed thick so as to protrude distinctly from the supporting sections and the width is formed smaller than the span between the heels of the supporting sections. Furthermore, between the supporting sections on the reverse side of the impact receiving section a hollow portion is formed lengthwise for preventing the impact receiving section from curving when the contact load of a ship is applied.

    摘要: The present application is concerned with an extrusion process for an elongated stiff but bendable plastic article which finds particular utility in highway delineators. The article has a central lens shape in the cross-section perpendicular to its major axis which is formed by joining two sheets along both of their longitudinal edges. The sheets both have parallel longitudinal edges and are configured in an arc in their shorter dimension. A reverse radius is provided in each longitudinal edge just before it joins the similar edge of the other sheet to allow the article to be bent 90.degree. across its major axis in the plane of its minor axis without significant plastic deformation. The article is constructed by pressing the cooled edges of thermoplastic sheets that can sustain substantial elastic deformation.

The mouth edges of the slot are bevelled and form mutually abutting supporting surfaces (18) for said transfer of forces. At the bottom of the slot (19), a longitudinal open channel (21) has been left to equalize the tensile stress occurring in the fender material on folding.

    摘要: A connecting device has at least one bolt and a loop of unidirectional fis bound by or embedded in a synthetic matrix material looping around the bolt to form a looping range extending around the bolt. The resistance of the matrix material in the looping range against squeeze-out is improved by reinforcing fiber layers located in the looping range of the loop around the bolt. The fibers of these reinforcing layers are also bound by the matrix of the synthetic material. The reinforcing fibers form insert and/or cover layers having at least one main fiber orientation which extends at least approximately in the direction of the longitudinal bolt axis whereas the unidirectional fibers forming the loop extend approximately tangentially to the bolt in the looping range.
