摘要： An eraser is placed on or near the end of the cover of a felt tip pen. The cover is inserted into the bottom of the pen or on the bottom of the pen itself. For a tapered cover type of pen, the eraser is placed on the flat upper end. For a raised or dimple type of cover, the eraser is placed concentrically around the end away from the dimple like a girdle or belt or flat on the bottom of the pen body. On a type of pen that resembles a fountain pen, the eraser is placed on the top cover on a flat area that may be slightly angled. The eraser can also be an annular ring on the base of the pen body. The eraser can be removable from the pen or can be attached with adhesive.

摘要： The present invention relates to an applicator for flowable materials to facilitate the repair of damaged metal coatings by allowing the user to quickly, safely, and accurately apply a metal coating solution to a specific portion of a metal surface, alleviating the need to re-immerse the entire metal item in a coating bath. This is particularly advantageous where the metal item is a portion of an automobile chassis or an aircraft which cannot be easily removed. Further, the applicator is a hand-held device which features a safety collar which protects the user from potentially harmful treatment solutions and, because the applicator enables the user to deliver metal coatings accurately and efficiently, chemical waste is essentially eliminated.

摘要： A felt tip pen cover with an attached eraser or a felt tip pen with an eraser on its bottom. The present invention places an eraser on or near the end of the cover that is inserted into the bottom of the pen or on the bottom of pen itself. For a tapered cover type of pen, the eraser is placed on the flat upper end. For a raised or dimple type of cover, the eraser is placed concentrically around the end away from the dimple like a girdle or belt or flat on the bottom of the pen body. On a type of pen that resembles a fountain pen, the eraser is placed on top cover on a flat area that may be slightly angled. The eraser can also be an annular ring on the base of the pen body. The addition of an eraser to a felt tip pen leads to the novel ability to erase and make corrections without having to search for a large eraser.

摘要： An instrument display cap, which is capable of interchanging a display member without modifying the structure of the cap, is provided. The instrument display cap includes a tubular tapered body with a transparent disk, pocket and centering member arrangement pivotally positioned in the top open end of the tubular tapered body. A retaining ring, with a spring clip connected thereto, retains the transparent disk, pocket and centering member in place while permitting it to pivot. The transparent disk, pocket and centering member arrangement pivots open to permit the replacement of a display member, such as a photo, or the like, to be easily installed within the pocket. The pivoting arrangement is pivoted closed to display the display member at the top portion of the instrument display cap.

摘要： A double-ended pen has a pair of elongated liquid-holding reservoirs each having a rear end, a front end having a liquid-applying tip, an intermediate portion between the ends and having at the rear end a predetermined relatively small outside diameter, and a snap-type retaining formation. An intermediate coupling sleeve has a pair of oppositely open seats each receiving a respective one of the rear ends and provided with formations for retaining the respective rear ends securely against axial displacement. The sleeve also has a pair of axially opposite ends having axially oppositely directed end surfaces each having a portion extending at an acute angle to a plane perpendicular to the axis. The sleeve ends are of a diameter greater than the outside diameter of the intermediate portions and projecting radially therepast when the respective rear ends are fitted in the seats. A pair of respective caps each adapted to fit over a respective one of the reservoirs each have a rear end substantially of the same diameter as the respective rear end of the sleeve and having an end surface with a surface portion complementary to the inclined portion of the respective sleeve end surface and engageable flush and complementarily therewith in a mounted position of the cap on the respective reservoir. Each cap further has an internal snap-type retaining formation complementary to and engaged with the snap-type retaining formation of the respective reservoir in the mounted position of the cap.

摘要： The tubular main body of a writing instrument has a cylinder the writing end of which is formed to include a cap-fitting portion. A gripping portion, which is formed on the cylinder below the cap-fitting portion, has an outer peripheral surface provided with a number of annular slip-preventing grooves. A cap detachably fitted on the cap-fitting portion of the cylinder includes a clip extending axially to a point in the vicinity of the gripping portion. The clip has an engaging projection formed on an underside thereof for engaging one of the slip-preventing grooves of the gripping portion when the cap is attached. When the writing instrument is clipped to the fabric on the outer side of a shirt or jacket pocket, the engaging projection on the clip and the slip-preventing groove of the gripping portion on the cylinder of the tubular main body engage each other via the fabric clamped between them.
