摘要: An energy storage and delivery system includes one or more cableways and a cage that travels along each of the one or more cableways. The cage is coupled (e.g., fixedly coupled) to one or more cables that extend between a lower elevation and a higher elevation, the cables or steel ribbons being translated along the associated cableway by a traction motor wheel to translate the cage along the associated cableway. The system is operable to pick-up, transport and deliver with the cage a plurality of blocks from the lower elevation to the higher elevation to store energy (e.g., via the potential energy of the block). The system is also operable to pick-up, transport and deliver with the cage a plurality of blocks from the higher elevation to the lower elevation at least partially under force of gravity to generate electricity via an electric generator coupled to the traction motor wheel.

摘要: A transport system for carrying a proppant, the system comprising a loading tower, a first transfer tower, a second transfer tower and an unloading tower. The loading tower is located proximate a loading area while the unloading tower is located proximate an unloading area. The system also includes a first transfer tower and a second transfer tower. A first aerial cable conveys a transfer container from the loading tower to the first transfer tower, while a second aerial cable conveys the transfer container from the second transfer tower to the unloading tower. The transfer container is configured to be suspended from the first and second aerial cables en route from the loading tower to the unloading area. Sand or supplies from the transfer container is received at the unloading area for use in a wellbore operation. Methods of transporting sand for use in wellbore fracturing operations are also provided.

摘要: For stopping a zip line trolley, a zip line braking system includes an impact device, a non-zip liner parallel cable, a freewheeling pulley, a tether, and at least one spring. The impact device rides on a zip line cable, wherein the impact device is positioned down the zip line cable from a zip line trolley that rides on the zip line cable. The impact device does not ride on the non-zip liner parallel cable. The tether connects the impact device to a first freewheeling pulley. The impact device applies a force to the first freewheeling pulley via the tether in response to a zip line trolley contacting the freewheeling pulley. The at least one spring is disposed on the non-zip liner parallel cable and slows the freewheeling pulley, wherein the freewheeling pulley decelerates the impact device and the zip line trolley via the tether to a stop.

The clamping apparatus is driven by the longitudinal movable plate to clamp or release a to-be-inspected target.
