An apparatus and a method in a wireless device provide for reestablishing a dropped call, wherein a wireless device determines a wireless device callback priority, wherein the wireless device callback priority is relative to a second communication device callback priority associated with a second communication device, wherein the wireless device and the second communication device are established in a communication session. A dropped call between the wireless device and the second communication device is detected. In response to detecting the dropped call, and the wireless device callback priority being higher than the second communication device callback priority, the wireless device calls back the second communication device. If, during the calling back, a match between a callback identifier and an incoming caller identifier of an incoming call is detected, the calling back is terminated, and the incoming call is answered.

The present disclosure relates to an electronic duplexer for at least one transmit path and at least one receive path in a radio system where the transmit and receive paths share the use of at least one antenna. A first feedforward correction loop is used to correct broadband noise emissions (that do not include linearity related close-in emissions) from the power amplifier in a radio system. A second feedforward correction loop is used to reduce the interference of the transmit signal in the receive path. A third feedforward correction loop is used to identify interference signals other than the transmit signal and correct those additional interferers.

The relay node (10) determines the type of the radio network connection based on the type of radio network application protocol indicated in the message. The relay node (10) also stores the type of radio network connection in relation to the radio base station (14) for selecting the type of radio network connection when later communicating with the radio base station (14).

A described technique includes configuring separate radio pathways, which are operable for either contiguous or non-contiguous frequency transmissions, to collectively produce a composite signal in a contiguous frequency mode; generating, via first and second radio pathways, first and second frequency segments of the composite signal in accordance with a segment bandwidth, the second frequency segment being contiguous with the first frequency segment in a frequency domain; applying, via the first and second radio pathways, first and second cyclic shift delay (CSD) phase shifts to the first and second frequency segments to produce first and second output signals, respectively. The first and second CSD phase shifts are equivalent to CSD phase shifts that correspond to a contiguous non-composite signal having a single frequency segment.
