Abstract: Systems and methods of detecting a vortex made by a travelling object is disclosed. In some configurations, a graphic recognition algorithm and vortex similarity engine are used to determine whether a visual media file captured by a media collector contains a vortex. The vortex similarity engine may be configured to determine or identify certain properties about the travelling object based on the travelling object vortex. In some configurations, a computer may trigger an alert if a travelling object vortex is not expected to be in the visual media file.

Abstract: A fluid transportation apparatus includes a first suction pipe having a first intake opening and a second suction pipe having a second intake opening. The first and second suction pipes are attached to a vessel on opposite sides to move in rolling motion. The first intake opening is disposed in a fluid reservoir at a position lower than the second intake opening and a valve device moves toward a maximally opened position for a first proximal end of the first suction pipe and to move toward a maximally closed position for a second proximal end of the second suction pipe, as the first and second suction pipes move with the vessel in a first rolling direction of the rolling motion. The intake openings reverse roles and the proximal ends reverse roles, as the vessel moves in a second rolling direction of the rolling motion opposite from the first rolling direction.

Abstract: An apparatus verifies hosted information associated with a user. The apparatus establishes, by the online host serving as a relying party system (RPS), a secure connection between the RPS and a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD). The RPS sends a mobile identification credential (MIC) user information request to the UMD, via the secure connection, seeking release of MIC user information (official information). The RPS obtains from authorizing party system (APS) verification of the MIC user information received in response to the MIC user information request. The RPS stores the MIC user information as hosted information pertaining to the user. The RPS designates the hosted information as base truth information representing the user.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed towards a system and method relating to depositing vapor in a sample. For example, a device includes a vapor source chamber configured to contain a vapor source material to generate vapor. An activation chamber is configured to contain a sample. The activation chamber is in fluid communication with the vapor source chamber to receive the vapor. A permeable separator divides the vapor source chamber and the activation chamber, and isolates the sample in the activation chamber while allowing vapor to pass between the vapor source chamber and the activation chamber. The device is sealable and configured to apply vacuum to the vapor and sample, to cause deposition of the vapor into the pumice stone samples.

Abstract: Examples are directed toward systems and methods relating to collecting and analyzing samples. For example, a system includes a cold trap that directly collects a sample. The cold trap operates to serve as a collection filter while the system draws in a flow across the cold trap. A thermal heater, coupled to the cold trap, flash heats the cold trap to produce a released sample from the cold trap at a release concentration. An analyzer entrains the released sample at the release concentration into a sampling flow of the analyzer for analysis.
