Abstract:
An archery component mountable with respect to an archery bow. The archery component includes a sensor that senses a movement of an archery arrow with respect to the archery bow and/or a movement of the archery bow. The sensor transmits a signal, upon sensing at least one movement, to a signal processor housed within a body of the archery bow and in communication with the sensor. The signal processor receives the signal and activates the archery component in response to the received signal.
Abstract:
The operating characteristics of catalytic reactors used in systems which generate hydrogen from the contact of a fuel with a catalyst are enhanced by such reactors incorporating one or more of group of elements consisting of (a) a heat exchanging element that preheats the fuel solution prior to its contact with the catalyst, (b) one or more liquid diffusing elements which distributes the flow of fuel over the catalyst so as to increase the generation hydrogen from such contact, (c) multiple catalysts having different hydrogen generating characteristics and d) a membrane capable of operating at pressures equal to or greater than 50 psig which surrounds catalytic material in the reactor and separates the generated hydrogen from the fuel.
Abstract:
A system and method comprising, communicating with a first process, wherein the first process is a collaboration process; communicating with a second process, wherein the second process is capable of assembling a first web page and capable of dynamically controlling navigation across a plurality of web pages; updating a first web page to reflect information received from the first process, wherein the updating does not require communication with the second process; and wherein the second process can dynamically change the flow of navigation across the plurality of web pages.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for a collaboration between a plurality of participants, comprising contacting a collaboration process wherein the contacting is by a first participant; qualifying one or more potential participants based on a role; selecting a second participant from the one or more potential participants; inviting the second participant to join the collaboration; and receiving an indication of whether the second participant can join the collaboration.
Abstract:
A system and method method for establishing a collaboration, comprising receiving an invitation to join the collaboration wherein the invitation is a result of dynamically determining eligibility for joining the collaboration based on evaluation of a role; responding affirmatively to the invitation; associating with a collaboration process; accepting one or more messages from the collaboration process; and wherein information can be shared with the collaboration process through a shared state.
Abstract:
A system and method comprising, sharing information between a plurality of participants in a collaboration; and exposing a set of functions that enable a participant in the plurality of participants to share the information, the set of functions comprising: first functions to facilitate establishing a context in which to interact with the plurality of participants; and second functions to facilitate storing and retrieving values from a shared state, wherein the shared state is accessible within the context.
Abstract:
A compressed air filtering cartridge includes a housing and a filter in the housing, the filter having a thermal vent. In one embodiment the filter includes a wall portion having a first condition when below a predetermined temperature range in which the wall portion blocks flow of air between opposite sides of the wall portion. The wall portion has a second condition when above the predetermined temperature range in which the wall portion does not block flow of air between opposite sides of the wall portion. The cartridge may be part of a compressed air system, between a compressor and an air dryer.
Abstract:
A framework for providing user interaction with one or more networked devices. The invention allows for user configuration of networked computers such that each of the networked computer input and output devices interact with one another in a prescribed manner. The configuration associates relative geographic relationships for each networked computer using agent modules located on each networked computer that keeps track of the current location of a cursor based upon the geographic relationships. If the current cursor position corresponds to another networked computer, an agent module blocks incoming input streams so that they are not processed by the local computer, and transmits the input device signals to a remote agent module corresponding to the remote networked computer. The remote computer agent module injects the input device instructions into the remote system, which causes the remote computer to process the input stream from the local computer.
Abstract:
A new and distinct variety of pomegranate tree which is somewhat remotely similar to the ‘Granada’ pomegranate tree (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 2,618), but from which it is distinguished by producing fruit which are mature for harvesting and shipment approximately September 11 and in which the fruit is of higher acid content when ripe, producing more juice and arils that are moderate red to deep red coloration and softer chewability than those of the fruit of other pomegranate varieties.
Abstract:
The invention provides a two-phase hash value matching technique in message protection systems. This invention further improves the performance of message protection systems by avoiding computations associated with sophisticated signature hash value (SSHV) where possible. A message protection system that implements the two-phase hash value matching technique caches rough outline hash values (ROHVs) of previously scanned objects. The system can roughly distinguish one object from another using ROHVs. The system performs an initial check using ROHVs before performing the relatively time-consuming computations associated with SSHVs.
