Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for automatically performing proximity based searches and reminders for items of interest. The mechanisms generate an item listing for a user having entries for things of interest (ToIs) that specify characteristics of the ToIs and notification criteria for notifying the user of availability of the ToIs within a specified proximity of a user location. Location data for locations within the proximity of the user location are processed to identify a provider that matches a characteristic of an entry of the ToI. Provider information is analyzed to determine whether the provider provides the ToI and whether conditions satisfy the notification criteria for the ToI. In response to determining that the provider provides the ToI and the conditions satisfy the notification criteria, an alert notification is output to a user computing device informing the user of the availability of the ToI within the specified proximity of the user location.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for preventing scams in commerce transactions. The computer system identifies a critical decision-making process of a user in a commerce transaction that involves exposing personal data. The computer system receives current stress factors of the user. The computer system calculates a current stress score of the user, based on the current stress factors, by using a machine learning model that correlates behavioral patterns of the user and stress levels of the user. The computer system determines an abnormal level of the current stress score, based on predetermined thresholds for different abnormal scores. The computer system determines a privacy protection level in the critical decision-making process, based on the abnormal level. The computer system takes an action for preventing scams in the commerce transaction, based on the privacy protection level.

Abstract: A method and system for obscured contact sharing is provided. In an embodiment, the method includes receiving at a first user device a request from a second user device to provide an obscured contact, wherein the obscured contact includes a plurality of information elements. The first user device receives from the second user device the obscured contact and data about obscuring at least one of the information elements of the obscured contact. Based on the data, an operating system of the first user device obscures the at least one information element from presentation by the first user device to a user while at the same time being able to use the obscured information element for a predetermined time. The operating system of the first user device removes the at least one information element from contact information storage of the first user device in response to detection of a predetermined time indicated by the second user device or a delete command from the second user device.

Abstract: A content artifact is received. Based on the content artifact, a content topic is identified. Based on the content artifact, a content sentiment score associated with the content topic is generated. Based on the content topic, a set of media is identified. For each medium within the set of media, a medium sentiment score associated with the content topic is identified. The content sentiment score is compared to the set of media sentiment scores to obtain a set of similarity scores. Based on the similarity scores, one or more media from the set of media are displayed to a user.

Abstract: A system for improving a machine learning allergy diagnosis process is provided. The system implements a method that includes identifying databases comprising data identifying menu items served by food establishments. Allergy data defining a food products associated with potential allergens is analyzed in real time and in response, baseline allergen indication software code for defining an allergen baseline indicator is generated. Ingredients of the menu items are analyzed with respect to the allergy data and allergen baseline levels for the ingredients determined. An allergen baseline level for each menu item is determined and an allergen alert software application for alerting a user with respect to each overall allergen assessment is generated.

Abstract: One or more processors generate a view that identifies the data records of a first database having a back-level version. Instructions are received to migrate the data records from a back-level version to a new version of the data records. Responsive to receiving a query requesting data records of the first database, the version level of the requested data records is determined based on the generated view. Responsive to determining the requested data records are in the back-level version, a migration is performed on the requested data records including changes resulting in the new version of the requested data records. The requested data records are identified as changed to the new version of data records, and the new version of the requested data records are written to a pre-determined storage location and are provided to a requestor submitting the query.

Abstract: Generating a preferred media playlist based on a determined activity type. A media item is played from a media library. A computing device collects metadata regarding the played media item. The computing device receives sensor data from one or more sensors. The computing device determines an activity type based upon the received sensor data. The computing device generates a media item record comprising a media item identification for the media item, the metadata collected regarding the played media item, and the determined activity type. The media item records are ranked based upon the metadata regarding the played media and the determined activity type. The computing device generates a preferred media playlist comprising a plurality of generated media item records ranked highest.

Abstract: Crowd-sourced device control can include monitoring a physical state associated with a user of the mobile device and performing relevant-device polling in response to detecting a change in the physical state associated with the user. Crowd-sourced device control also can include determining an operational parameter setting for the mobile device based on a relevant-device consensus determined by the relevant-device polling. Responsive to the operational parameter setting, as determined based on the relevant-device consensus, being different than a current setting of the operational parameter, a response action by the mobile device can be initiated.

Abstract: Analyzing vehicle sensor data and identifying anomalies in service procedures including capturing vehicle data metrics from sensors, determining whether a service procedure that matches a predefined service procedure has been performed, identifying performed procedural steps corresponding to the matched service procedure, determining whether the performed procedural steps do not include one of the service procedures, whether the procedural steps were not performed in a defined order or whether a performed procedural step is not one of the predefined procedures, identifying an anomaly in the procedural steps when a determination is made that the procedural steps do not include all of the predefined service procedures, that the procedural steps were not performed in an order the defined sequence of steps, or that a procedural step is not one of the sequence of steps of the predefined service procedures and providing a dynamic feedback notification when an anomaly has been identified.
