Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a technique for enabling secondary-cell (SCell) operation during dual active protocol stack handover (DAPS-HO). For this purpose, a command for the DAPS-HO is modified at a source network node such that it causes a UE to maintain, among an available set of source SCells configured by the source network node for the UE, at least one source SCell active during the DAPS-HO, as well as to activate, among an available set of target SCells configured by a target network node for the UE, at least one target SCell during the DAPS-HO. By using such a modified command for the DAPS-HO, the UE may use the SCells of the source and target network nodes during the DAPS-HO, thereby resulting in a higher user plane throughput compared to that provided by using the single PCell operation only.
