    Abstract: This application relates to the field of communication technologies, and discloses example communication methods and apparatuses. In one example method, a first communication apparatus obtains an original data packet at a first protocol layer, where the original data packet corresponds to a first sequence number, and the original data packet is from a first protocol data unit at a second protocol layer. The first communication apparatus performs network coding on the original data packet at the first protocol layer to obtain K encoded data packets, where each encoded data packet of the K encoded data packets corresponds to one index value, and K is a positive integer.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node may receive one or more data messages which may include a set of packets that may each be associated with a sequence number. The set of packets may be received with a gap in the set of sequence numbers, indicating missing packets. The wireless node may forward the set of packets to a processing layer of the wireless node. The wireless node may then accept, from the processing layer of the wireless node, a set of duplicate (DUP) acknowledgment (ACK) messages based on the set of packets being forwarded to the processing layer while having the gap in the set of sequence numbers. The wireless node may transmit, a subset of the set of DUP ACKs rather than all of the set of DUP ACKs to another wireless node, such as a base station.

    Abstract: An information transmission method and apparatus are provided, to reduce feedback overheads of a master node to a slave node. The information transmission method and apparatus are applied to intelligent driving or assisted driving. The method in embodiments of this application includes: each of a plurality of second nodes sends a first message to a first node. Each second node may send at least one first message, and there are N first messages in total. After receiving the N first messages, the first node may send, in multicast mode on a first resource, a second message that includes N pieces of first feedback information that are in a one-to-one correspondence with the N first messages. The method in this application may be applied to the internet of vehicles, for example, vehicle-to-everything V2X, long term evolution-vehicle LTE-V, or vehicle-to-vehicle V2V.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may include a transceiver and a processor. The WTRU may be configured to receive one or more downlink signals. The WTRU may be configured to receive configuration information indicating time and frequency resources for transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK). The configuration information may indicate a first sequence. The WTRU may be configured to determine a set of sequences to be used in response to the receipt of the one or more downlink signals. The set of sequences may be determined based on the indicated first sequence. The WTRU may be configured to send a second sequence from the set of sequences in the time and frequency resources to indicate HARQ-ACK. The second sequence may be selected based on a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasions associated with the indicated HARQ-ACK.
