摘要: A current output type digital-analog conversion circuit which outputs a current signal includes a decoder for decoding higher-order bits of input digital data, a plurality of binary current generators, and a current adder. Each of the binary current generators includes a device for outputting a binary current which increases linearly as binary values according to lower-order bits of the input digital data, and a device for outputting a predetermined all-ON current. Either the device for outputting the binary current or the element for outputting the all-ON current of the binary current generator is selected according to a decode signal output by the decoder. The current adder adds up and outputs the binary currents and the all-ON currents output by the plurality of binary current generators.

摘要: The present invention provides a printing device whereby a recording agent cartridge that pertains to recording agent cartridge-related information can easily be identified. The printing device of the present invention stores cartridge identification information including user information on each user allocated to one of the multiple recording agent cartridges. When a print job with user identification information is received via the network (S10), the printing device identifies a recording agent cartridge corresponding to a user of the print job and sets the identified recording agent cartridge to an active recording agent cartridge for executing the print job (S20), based on the user identification information received with the print job and the user information. The printing device executes the print job and outputs output information with respect to a specified recording agent cartridge selected among the multiple recording agent cartridges, together with a specific piece of the cartridge identification information regarding the specified recording agent cartridge, which is selected out of the cartridge identification information stored in said cartridge identification information storage module (S30).

摘要: The relationship L1≦V(F1×∈11/2×100) is satisfied where a transmission path length between the interface 1 and the timing controller is L1, a propagating speed of electromagnetic waves in a vacuum is V, a frequency of a signal transmitted between the interface and the timing controller is F1, and a comparative dielectric constant of a transmission path medium between the interface and the timing controller is ∈1. The relationship L2≦V(F2×∈21/2×100) is satisfied where a transmission path length between the timing controller and the signal driving portion is L2, a propagating speed of electromagnetic waves in a vacuum is V, a frequency of a signal transmitted between the timing controller and the signal line driving portion is F2, and a comparative dielectric constant of a transmission path medium between the timing controller and the signal line driving portion is ∈2. Thus, the occurrence of EMI noise can be suppressed, and the implementation cost of a display apparatus can be reduced.

The integrator illuminating optical system includes: a first lens array having a plurality of first lenses in a plane substantially orthogonal to an optical axis of the light beam irradiated from the light source and divides the light beam into a plurality of partial light beams by the plurality of first lenses, a second lens array having a plurality of second lenses corresponding to the plurality of first lenses of the first lens array, and a polarization converter which is disposed on a light beam emitting-side of the first lens array and aligns a polarization direction of the light beam irradiated from the first lens array into a substantially uniform type. The polarization converter includes: at least one polarization separating layer of which lengthwise direction in a plane substantially orthogonal to the optical axis of the light beam irradiated from the light source is defined as a first direction, the polarization separating layer transmitting polarized light having one polarization direction of an incident light beam and reflects polarized light having another polarization direction, at least one reflection layer which is disposed in a second direction substantially orthogonal to the optical axis of the light beam irradiated from the light source and the first direction such that the polarization separating layer and the reflection layer are alternately arranged in the second direction, the reflection layer reflecting the polarized light reflected by the polarization separating layer into a common direction to that of the polarized light passed through the polarization separating layer, and a phase layer which is disposed at a position corresponding to the polarization separating layer or the reflection layer and converts the polarization direction of the incident polarized light into another polarization direction. A focal position in the first direction of the first lens is set in the vicinity of the second lens array in the optical direction of the light beam irradiated from the first lens. A focal position in the second direction of the first lens is set in the vicinity of the polarization converter in the optical direction of the light beam irradiated from the first lens.

摘要: In a communications network where multiple shared risk link groups are formed by links having a common risk, unreserved bandwidths are defined corresponding to all SRLG's and a maximum bandwidth of each link is set as an initial value of each of the defined unreserved bandwidths when a working path or a protection path of “1+1” or “1:1” recovery type is requested. When a protection path of “shared” recovery type is requested, unreserved bandwidths are defined corresponding to the SRLG's to which the links of its corresponding working path belong and a maximum bandwidth of each link is set as an initial value to each of the defined unreserved bandwidths. The bandwidth of the working or protection path is subtracted from each of the unreserved bandwidths. The request is rejected if a minimum of the subtracted values is smaller than a threshold.

摘要: A color laser printer of the invention identifies each object image to be printed as a color image or a monochromatic image. When the object image to be printed is identified as a color image, the control procedure of the invention rotates a developer unit with multiple color toner cartridges to sequentially move positions of the respective color toner cartridges to a development position and forms respective color toner images on a photoreceptor. When the object image to be printed is identified as a monochromatic image, on the other hand, the control procedure fixes a specific toner cartridge filled with black toner to the development position and forms a black toner image on the photoreceptor. A counter counts up consecutive monochromatic printing operations. After a preset number of the consecutive monochromatic printing operations in the fixed state of the developer unit, the developer unit is rotated to return and fix the specific toner cartridge filled with black toner to the development position for monochromatic printing.

摘要: The process of the invention determines whether toners of cyan (C), magenta (M), and yellow (Y) are all included in toner filled in a toner cartridge 40, based on color information of the toner read from a storage element 50 of the toner cartridge 40 (S100 and S110). When the toners of all these colors are included in the toner cartridge 40, the process sets parameter values for a color image to control parameters (a fixation temperature T, a fixation pressure P, and a preliminary revolving frequency R) of a fixation process (S120). When the toners of all these colors are not included in the toner cartridge 40, on the other hand, the process specifies formation of a monochromatic image and sets parameter values for the monochromatic image to the control parameters (S130). This arrangement effectively ensures adequate formation of a color image and a monochromatic image and desirably prevents excessive deterioration of constituents of an image formation device.
