    摘要： A processor derives a plurality of unit density values which are each an average value of sensed densities for each of a plurality of unit areas sectioned for each unit length in a test toner image. The processor derives a weighted average of the plurality of unit density values to derive a test image density used for adjusting a control parameter in a printing portion. The unit length is a greatest common factor of two target lengths corresponding to perimeters of two types of target rotating members out of the plurality of rotating members. When a number of the plurality of unit areas is represented by n, n is a value obtained by subtracting 1 from an added value of a first constant and a second constant. The first constant and the second constant are values obtained by respectively dividing the two target lengths by the unit length.

    摘要： A sheet processing apparatus includes a sensing processing portion, a determination processing portion, an acquisition processing portion, an acceptance processing portion, and a setting processing portion. The sensing processing portion senses a sheet size. The determination processing portion determines whether the sheet size corresponds to any of a plurality of standard sizes based on a result of the sensing by the sensing processing portion. The acquisition processing portion acquires sheet attribute information that is determined for each sheet type based on a result of the determination by the determination processing portion or the result of the sensing by the sensing processing portion. The acceptance processing portion accepts a selection operation of selecting any of the acquired sheet attribute information. The setting processing portion sets a processing condition of a sheet based on the sheet attribute information selected by the selection operation.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus is used, which includes: a scanning unit that scans a surface of a photosensitive member with light and forms a latent image according to image data; a developing unit that supplies toner to the latent image to develop the latent image; a fixing unit that heats and fixes the toner image on a recording material; and a control unit that controls a fixing temperature based on the image data, wherein the control unit analyzes a printing ratio by dividing the image data into a plurality of regions in a main scanning direction when the scanning unit scans the surface of the photosensitive member with light, and determines the fixing temperature on the basis of the position in the main scanning direction and the printing ratio for each of the plurality of regions.

The circuitry senses a density of a toner image on each bearer; forms an image pattern and senses, based on a detection result of the detector and a sensing result of the density, density unevenness in a rotation cycle and a phase of the density unevenness with respect to a rotational position reference of each bearer; calculates a target phase based on the phase sensed; calculates a relative phase difference based on a rotational position and the target phase of each bearer; selects, as a reference image bearer, an image bearer having a minimum phase correction value, based on a calculation result of the difference; and controls the rotational position of each of the other image bearers with respect to the reference image bearer to the phase correction value, with the motors being driven.
