摘要： In a direct current electric motor, segment pieces of a commutator are generally planar and are arranged one after another in a circumferential direction about a rotational axis of the commutator. A slidably engaging surface of each segment piece, which is slidably engageable with a plurality of brushes of the motor, extends in a plane that is generally perpendicular to the rotational axis, and each segment piece includes a radially inner engaging portion at a radially inner end part of the segment piece. Each conductive line extends along a corresponding straight line and electrically interconnects between the radially inner engaging portions of corresponding two of the plurality of segment pieces to implement the same electric potential in the corresponding two of the plurality of segment pieces.

摘要： In a clutch device, an output shaft supports an input disk rotatably about an axis thereof, and a clutch disk non-rotatably about the axis and movably in an axial direction of the output shaft. An elastic member exerts resistive force on the input disk or the clutch disk when the clutch disk is about to come out of an engagement with the input disk. One of the input disk and the clutch disk has a trailing surface inclined by a predetermined angle from the axis, and the other has a curved control surface to come in a line contact with the trailing surface in a circumferential direction of the output shaft. The trailing surface and the curved control surface generate a component force of a driving force in the axial direction. The other having the curved control surface is higher in hardness than the one having the trailing surface.

The first coil and the second coil are in the same phase. In a state in which a plurality of divisional cores are arranged annularly so that their teeth are oriented in a radially inward direction, the first divisional core and the second divisional core are not adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. A plurality of connection wires are shaped to converge at an end surface of a stator core. This facilitates the winding of the coils around the divisional cores. Further, the connection wires can be shortened.

摘要： A wiper blade includes a wiper strip, a lever assembly and a cover member. The lever assembly has a connecting arrangement and holding claws. The connecting arrangement is connected to a wiper arm. The holding claws hold the wiper strip. The cover member has a cover opening, which is opened on a wiper strip side thereof. The cover member receives the lever assembly through the cover opening. In an interior space between the cover member and the wiper strip, holder end side openings, each of which is a part of the cover opening, are covered by two connecting arrangement end side cover parts. In this way, in the interior space between the cover member and the wiper strip, spaces, into which fluid intrudes, are reduced.

The advancing angle timing generation unit generates an advancing angle energizing timing advanced by a predetermined amount from the normal energizing timing and a final advancing angle energizing timing delayed by a delay amount from the advancing angle energizing timing. The control switching unit switches rotation control of the motor between a first rotation control executed in accordance with the normal energizing timing and a second rotation control executed in accordance with the final advancing angle energizing timing.

The number of the segments is a multiple of the number of the armature coils. The segments include a plurality of pairs of segments. The segments in each pair are adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. Each segment in each pair is connected to one of the ends of corresponding one of the armature coils. The number of the short-circuit conductors is the same as the number of the armature coils. Each short-circuit conductor short-circuits segments that are at the same potential to each other. Each short-circuit conductor is connected, either directly or via corresponding one of the segments, to the surge absorbing element, so that the surge absorbing element is electrically interposed between the ends of each armature coil.
