    摘要: A device mount for affixing a device to a surface such as a wall. The device mount has a surface bracket, an articulation mechanism, and a device mount plate. In various embodiments, the device mount further includes a tilt assembly. The surface mount bracket includes an upper surface bracket, a lower surface bracket and a vertical support positioned there between and connected to the lower all bracket and the upper surface bracket. The articulation mechanism has an inner articulating arm pivotally connected to the surface mount bracket and an outer articulating arm is rotatably connected to the inner articulating arm such that it maybe disposed substantially within a void of the inner articulating arm. The tilt assembly is connected to the outer articulating arm and pivotally connected to the device mount plate that is adapted to have a device mounted thereto, such that the device mount plate is selectively tiltable. The tilt assembly may comprise at least one friction hinge that substantially maintains the tilt angle of the device mount plate. When in a collapsed position, the inner articulating arm is substantially disposed between the upper surface bracket and lower surface bracket and the outer articulating arm is substantially disposed within the inner articulating arm presenting a thin profile.

    摘要: A K-base for a pole mounting system includes a central hub formed as a pentagon with legs extending from four of the five sides of the pentagon. The ends of the legs may splay to form clefts configured to receive a flat outer perimeter of the central hub so that the legs may be bolted to the central hub. The ends of the legs and the fifth unoccupied side of the pentagon may be formed to approximate a disk. In the central region of the central hub, on the top surface, an indentation may be formed to approximate an outer perimeter of a pole configured to be attached to the K-base. On the bottom surface, the central region may contain a depression sized to receive a washer and optionally a weight. Bolts extending through the washer and optionally through the weight may be used to connect the K-base to a pole. The washer may be formed to distribute stress from the bolts on the central hub.

    摘要: An equapoised arm assembly is counterbalanced by springs enclosed within tubes that are components of the arm assembly. The arm assembly has a lower pair of parallel arms which are pivoted at their lower ends to a swivel bracket that turns about a vertical axis in a fixed bracket. Each of these arms is pivoted at its upper end to a floating bracket that is pivoted to a similar upper pair of parallel arms. An article support bracket is mounted upon the other end of the upper pair of arms and may include a universal joint assembly. The arms are tubular and each pair forms a parallelogram by virtue of the pivotal connections with the respective brackets. A coil spring is enclosed within one arm of each pair of arms to exert a counterbalancing effect upon its pair of arms. A nylon shoe is connected to at least one end of each spring and is slidable within the tube. The shoe is connected through a rod to an adjacent bracket of the assembly to transmit the counterbalacing force from the spring to the adjacent bracket. By connecting a shoe and rod to both ends of the spring, it is stretched from both these ends whereby its counterbalancing force is doubled. This force is a function of the tangent of the angle between the direction of the spring force (i.e. the longitudinal axis of the tube it is in) and the connection(s) between the slide and bracket, whereby the actual spring force may be smaller than that used to produce the same counterbalancing force in prior equapoised arm assemblies.
