摘要: An improvement for automatic/mechanized food-process lines pertains to racking provisions for assembling, dis-assembling and re-assembling numerous separate machines that form to make up the line. That is, one machine can be swapped out for a different machine in order to cause a change in the output food product pieces. For example, a swapped in machine may give a different coating to the food product pieces (eg., breading vs. Panko) or run food product pieces of substantially different character (eg., whole muscle pieces like chicken tenders vs. formed product like hamburger patties). The improvement has a track attached or affixed to either a low elevation mounting structure of a given food process line machine or the factory floor, but not the other, and a router member attached or affixed to the other of the low elevation mounting structure or the factory floor, for following the track.

摘要: A food product gripping mechanism is provided. The food product gripping mechanism includes a shaft connected to a hub. A release mechanism has a first passage in fluid communication with a second passage. The second passage is configured to allow the shaft to pass therethrough. A tension member is positioned partly within the first passage of the release mechanism. A guide spool is configured to receive a portion of the tension member and further configured to allow the shaft to pass therethrough and a plurality of tongs is connected to the hub. The plurality of tongs are configured for a contracted orientation and further configured for rotation to an expanded orientation. The plurality of tongs are further configured to grip a food product without piercing a skin of the food product.

摘要: The drum coater comprises a substantially cylindrical drum (11) with a peripheral wall and a substantially horizontal axis of rotation. The method comprises providing a coating zone within the drum, feeding tablets into the drum, spinning the drum containing the tablets at a rotational speed such that a substantially annular bed of tablets is created, providing means for creating a cascade (19) of tablets at least in a part of the coating zone and spraying the tablets in the coating zone.

摘要: A device, method, and computer-readable medium for printing an image on an edible media. The method including receiving from an external device associated with a consumer the image, determining whether the image is of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media, transmitting a message to the external device, in response to a determination that the image is not of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media, and performing an image processing technique on the image to enhance the image for printing on the edible media, in response to a determination that the image is of suitable quality to be printed on the edible media. The method further including transmitting a request to a printer to print the enhanced image on the edible media, and transmitting a request to the printer to print a shipping label to ship the printed edible media to the consumer.

摘要: A method of forming a material structure from structural units contained within a liquid solution in a spray head is described. The liquid solution includes a solvent and a solute, the solute comprising a plurality of the structural units, the structural units including monomer units, oligomer units, or combinations thereof. The method comprises forming droplets of the liquid solution including the structural units, and spraying the droplets on a substrate, thereby substantially increasing the reactivity of the structural units within the droplets relative to the structural units within the liquid solution in the spray head. The increase in reactivity can result from the droplets containing an excess of a particular ion, the ion excess resulting from a voltage applied to conductive walls of the device which dispenses the droplets. The material structure is then formed on the substrate from the more highly reactive structural units within the droplets.

摘要: A method for coating food products with a coating substance including: a step a) of supercooling the food products, by providing external frigories, to a temperature lower than the initial temperature of same, before contacting the food products with the coating substance, and subsequently, a step b) of contacting the supercooled food products obtained in step a) with the coating substance. In step b): (i) the supercooled food products are contacted with the coating substance in a treatment chamber, (ii) the food products are stirred by a motorised mechanised system, including at least one stirring member, internal to the treatment chamber, (iii) the at least one stirring member is heated, and the intensity of the heating is adjusted, without excess heating, so as to avoid the accumulation of materials on the stirring member.
