Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a bionic cuttlefish-typed underwater detection robot, including a bionic “cuttlefish”-typed body structure, a piezoelectric energy capture device, a circuit rectification and storage assembly and a power control assembly. The bionic “cuttlefish”-typed body structure includes a head and a main body; the piezoelectric energy capture device includes piezoelectric ceramic elements arranged around the main body and PVDF floating belts, and an end of each piezoelectric ceramic element is connected to a spherical spoiler component, the PVDF floating belts are evenly distributed at a tail end of the main body. The present disclosure adopts piezoelectric ceramic elements with spoiler components and PVDF floating belts to generate electricity, converts wave energy and ocean current energy into electric energy, powers the power control assembly of the detection robot. It has high power generation efficiency and stable current, and realizes the autonomous operation of the underwater detection robot.

Abstract: A system and method by which energy from ocean waves is converted into hydrogen, and that hydrogen is used to manifest electrical and mechanical energies by an energy consuming device. A portion of the generated electrical power is communicated to water electrolyzers which produce oxygen and hydrogen from water as gases. At least a portion of the generated hydrogen gas is transferred to a transportation ship via a hose-carrying, remotely operated (or otherwise unmanned) vehicle, and subsequently transferred to an energy-consuming module or infrastructur, where a portion of the hydrogen is consumed in order to manifest a generation of electrical energy, a mechanical motion, and/or a chemical reaction.

Abstract: A method for surveying a body of water includes providing a plurality of vehicles to a body of water. Each the plurality of vehicles includes a vehicle body, an electric-propulsion motor system mounted on the vehicle body, a rechargeable battery, at least one sonar device attached to the vehicle body, and a first communication device. The method also includes submerging each of the plurality of vehicles in the body of water, surveying an area, using the at least one sonar device, to map the body of water and to determine a location of each of the plurality of vehicles, and determining, based on the surveying, that a target object is detected within the area. The method also includes resurfacing each of the plurality of vehicles and transferring data, using the first communication device, between at least two of the plurality of vehicles at the surface of the body of water.

Abstract: A geofenced autonomous aquatic drone for repelling sharks from a shoreline. The drone employs a buoyant housing resembling a portion of a predator such as an orca whale. A battery positioned within the drone is recharged through a floating inductive charging station. A propulsion system controlled a microprocessor receives location information via DGPS for providing a geofence around an area to be patrolled. A sonar device is constructed and arranged to detect sharks. The drone travels within the geofence area, monitored by the DGPS receiver and a solution of shark repellant is dispensed.

Abstract: A geofenced autonomous aquatic drone for repelling sharks from a shoreline. The drone employs a buoyant housing resembling a portion of a predator such as an orca whale. A battery positioned within the drone is recharged through a floating inductive charging station. A transmitter unit coupled to at least one under water transducer introduces certain sounds, such as reproduction of orca whale or dolphin calling sounds. A propulsion system controlled a microprocessor receives location information via DGPS for providing a geofence around an area to be patrolled. The drone travels within the geofence area, monitored by the DGPS receiver, while said transducer produces certain sounds and or a solution of shark repellant is dispensed.
