摘要: The present disclosure discloses a method and device for removing iron in an iron-containing solution in hydrometallurgy. This method comprises the steps of: adding an iron-containing solution in hydrometallurgy into a reactor through a first homogenizing distributor, controlling concentration of the ferric iron in the reactor below 1 g/L, controlling pH of the solution in the reactor to be 2.5˜4, the temperature to be 65˜100° C., and the reaction duration to be 1˜3 hours, performing solid-liquid separation for the solution after reaction, and removing the iron in the iron-containing solution in hydrometallurgy in the form of goethite.

摘要: The invention provides an apparatus for fluidic exfoliation of a layered material comprising: a housing of circular cross-section defined by a housing wall; a hollow rotor of circular cross-section having a first end and a second end and a wall positioned therebetween arranged concentrically within the housing, wherein the wall of the hollow rotor defines an inner chamber and the space in between the wall of the hollow rotor and the housing wall defines an outer chamber, and wherein a fluid flow path is provided between the inner chamber and the outer chamber; a fluid inlet in fluid communication with the inner chamber or the outer chamber; and a fluid outlet in fluid communication with the other of the inner chamber or the outer chamber; wherein the outer chamber has a width such that on passage of a fluid comprising the layered material from the inlet to the outlet through the outer chamber, a shear rate sufficient to exfoliate the layered material may be applied to the fluid comprising the layered material in the outer chamber by rotation of the hollow rotor.

摘要: Methods of generating performic acid by contacting aqueous oxidizing agent and aqueous formic acid source in liquid phase are disclosed. A system and apparatus for the in situ production of the performic acid chemistries is further disclosed. In particular, a continuous flow reactor is provided to generate performic acid at variable rates. Methods of employing the oxidizing biocide for various disinfection applications are also disclosed.

摘要: Described herein is a polymerization reactor system comprising at least one loop reactor and/or at least one transfer line, and further comprising at least one withdrawal valve, wherein the at least one withdrawal valve is mounted to a wall of a lower horizontal segment of the loop reactor and/or to a wall of the transfer line, at an angle α of more than 0° and equal to or less than 85°, determined from perpendicular to a tangent of the wall at the mounting position in flow direction of a slurry in the loop reactor and/or in the transfer line. The valve piston of the at least one withdrawal valve comprises a valve plate at an end directed to the at least one loop reactor and/or at an end directed to the at least one transfer line, the valve plate being shaped according to an inner wall of the at least one loop reactor and/or according to an inner wall of the at least one transfer line such that the valve piston is flush with the inner wall of the at least one loop reactor and/or with the inner wall of the at least one transfer line in a closed position of the withdrawal valve. By using such a withdrawal valve, a limitation of the effective withdrawal area can be avoided or at least be reduced such that the liquid slurry can efficiently be withdrawn and the risk of plugging is reduced. Further disclosed is a method for producing an olefin polymer in the inventive polymerization reactor system.

Also disclosed is a method for preparing high purity crystals of ZS-9 exhibiting an enhanced level of potassium exchange capacity. These compositions are particularly useful in the therapeutic treatment of hyperkalemia.
