    摘要: An auto-accompaniment apparatus for an electronic musical instrument which includes an accompaniment pattern storage means and chord progression pattern storage means. These accompaniment pattern and chord progression pattern are programmed in the storage means for each type of rhythms.     摘要: An apparatus for producing a chord progression by connecting or chaining chord patterns. In a preferred embodiment, the apparatus includes as a source of musical knowledge, a database of musical structure of various music pieces and a database of chord patterns. In operation, from the musical structure database, a multi-leveled structural feature of a music piece is selected and determined level by level, either automatically, semi-automatically, or manually, through a dialogue conducted between the apparatus and the user. Thereafter, chord patterns are chosen one at a time from the chord pattern database in a similar dialogue manner. A concatenating module controls the concatenation of the chosen chord patterns to be commensurate with the characteristic musical structure previously determined, thereby to provide a chord progression with musicality, naturalness and well-balanced unity and variety. The produced chord progression may be utilized as a musical material from which an automatic composer synthesizes a melody of a music piece.

    摘要: The accompaniment apparatus for an electronic musical instrument comprises an accompaniment segment memory storing data representing a plurality of accompaniment segments which form a plurality of mutually different accompaniment patterns of predetermined lengths, and an alignment sequence memory storing, separately from the above, the orders with which these accompaniment segments are to be aligned sequentially. The data of these orders of alignment of segments are read out one after another, on the basis of which the accompaniment segments derived from the data of the segment memory are aligned one after another sequentially at a given tempo. This operation materializes the automatic accompaniment of any substantial length such as one whole piece of music, and allows the segment memory to have a capacity much smaller as compared to the case in which accompaniment patterns for the whole length of music have to be stored without skipping these segments of the same pattern.

    摘要: An electronic musical instrument which produces counter melody automatically selects one from among chord constituting tones in a predetermined priority order and produces a tone of the same note as the selected tone as a counter melody tone. This electronic musical instrument further comprises a chord type detector for detecting a chord type of a performed chord besides a chord designation detector for detecting the fact that the chord has been designated, a counter melody tone determining circuit for selecting one from among the chord constituting tones and sound system for producing the counter melody tone. The predetermined priority order is determined in accordance with the detected chord type. This dependence on chord type make it possible to produce a counter melody tone which is more rich in music.
