摘要: This disclosure describes a system for utilizing multiple image processing techniques to identify an item represented in an image. In some implementations, one or more image processing algorithms may be utilized to process a received image to generate item image information and compare the item image information with stored item image information to identify the item. When a similarity score identifying the similarity between the item image information and at least one of the stored item image information is returned, a determination may be made as to whether the similarity score is high enough to confidently identify the item. If it is determined that the similarity score is high enough to confidently identify the item, the other algorithms may be terminated and the determined identity of the item returned.

摘要: This disclosure describes a configuration of an unmanned aerial vehicle (“UAV”) in which the fuselage of the UAV is center mounted and at least some of the motors are configured to encompass at least a portion of the fuselage. In such a configuration, the stator and rotor of the motor extend around a perimeter of the fuselage, the propellers are coupled to an outer perimeter of the rotor, and the propellers extend radially outward away from the fuselage. Likewise, a closed wing may be coupled to the fuselage and positioned to encompass the radially extending propellers and at least a portion of the fuselage.

摘要: A storage unit includes a support bar for hanging items and an RFID antenna provided within a predefined distance of the support bar. When the items hanging from the support bar are adorned with RFID tags, and the RFID antenna emits electromagnetic fields in a direction of the support bar, RFID signals identifying the items are transmitted from the RFID tags to the RFID antenna, thereby enabling a placement or a removal of an item to be automatically registered, or an accounting of the available items to be automatically performed. The RFID antenna may be a portion of a transmission line that uses shields and/or dielectric materials to shape the electromagnetic fields toward a predefined direction, and the locations of items bearing RFID tags on the support bar may be determined by varying the phase of the emitted radiofrequency and determining strengths of RFID signals when the electromagnetic fields are emitted at varying phases.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for reducing the amount of messaging between aerial vehicles and between controllers of aerial vehicles and simplifying aerial vehicle traffic management. In one implementation, a large service area, such as the United States, may be separated into a series of hierarchal regions. Rather than sending notifications to all agents (e.g., aerial vehicles, controllers) in the service area, each agent may subscribe to one or more regions of the hierarchal regions and only receive messages intended for the subscribed regions. In one example, as discussed below, messages for a particular region are only sent to agents subscribed to that region. Other agents within the larger service area do not receive the messages as they may not be relevant to those agents.

摘要: Diagnostics may be performed on imaging devices such as digital cameras that are provided in large numbers, or mounted in arrays or networks, by providing imaging data captured from such devices to a machine learning system or classifier that has been trained to recognize anomalies based on imaging data. The machine learning system or classifier may be trained using a training set of imaging data previously captured by one or more imaging devices that has been labeled with regard to whether such imaging devices encountered any anomalies when the imaging data was captured, and if so, which anomalies were encountered. Additionally, a perceptual score which represents the quality of a given image or imaging data may be calculated and used to rank or define the image or imaging data in terms of quality, or determine whether the image or imaging data is suitable for its intended purpose.

摘要: Systems and methods related to identifying locations and/or ranges to objects using airborne imaging devices are disclosed. An object tracking system may include a plurality of aerial vehicles having associated imaging devices and a control station. Information related to positions and orientations of aerial vehicles and associated imaging devices may be received. In addition, imaging data may be received and processed to identify optical rays associated with objects within the imaging data. Further, a three-dimensional mapping of the identified optical rays may be generated, and locations or ranges of the objects relative to the aerial vehicles may be determined based on any intersections of optical rays within the three-dimensional mapping.

摘要: Disclosed are systems and methods for generating reminder options that are presented to a user when a user browses to a content item to view the item and then browses away from the item. For example, a user may be presented with one or more content items, such as images, advertisements, etc., on a display of a user device. The content item, when interacted with by the user, results in the user being provided with an additional content item, such as a webpage, associated with the content item. If the user selects a back button, or other navigation control that results in a request being sent to navigate away from the additional content item and back to the previously presented content items, rather than just presenting the same previously presented content items again, a reminder option may be presented allowing the user to indicate whether the user desires to receive a later reminder about the additional content item and/or the object indicated in the additional content item.
