Abstract:
The present invention relates to a desktop speakerphone constructed to make the desktop speakerphone less space-consuming while having improved audio qualities. The desktop speakerphone preferably has two microphone clusters 6, 7 mounted at the upper side of the housing 2 closer towards respective longitudinal ends 8 of the latter, so that each microphone cluster 6, 7 can receive voice sound Av from one or more of the users. Each microphone cluster 6, 7 preferably comprises three pressure microphones 10, 11, 12. Furthermore, within each microphone cluster 6, 7, the second and third sound inlets 14, 15 are preferably arranged symmetrically on opposite sides of the respective median plane 18. Within each microphone cluster 6, 7, the relative arrangement of the three sound inlets 13, 14, 15 defines a respective microphone axis 9, 19 for each of the microphone pairs 10, 11, 10, 12. The microphone axis 9 of the first microphone pair 10, 11 extends through the first and the second sound inlet 13, 14, while the microphone axis 19 of the second microphone pair 10, 12 extends through the first and the third sound inlet 13, 15. The microphones are connected to multiple array processors, each configured to provide an array signal in dependence on two or more of the multiple microphone signals. First and second array processor configured to provide array signals in dependence on microphone signals.
Abstract:
A wireless headset system comprising a first telecommunication device, a second telecommunication device, such as a mobile phone or a smart phone and a wireless headset adapted to be wirelessly connected by a first radio link to the first telecommunication device. The headset system is adapted to transfer a call from the first telecommunication device to the second telecommunication device, when the first wireless link or a second radio link between the first telecommunication device and the second telecommunication device is broken or becomes sufficiently weak. The invention also relates to a method and a headset to be used with such a system.
Abstract:
A headset system (1) comprising a first telecommunication device (3) comprising a desk phone or a computer (4) with an installed softphone, a second telecommunication device, such as a mobile phone or a smart phone (6), and a headset (2) comprising a cord (5) with a first connector (7), by means of which the headset (2) is adapted to be interchangeably connected to the first telecommunication device (3) and the second telecommunication device (6). The headset system (1) is adapted to transfer a call from the first telecommunication device (3) to the second telecommunication device (6), when the first connector (7) is unplugged from the first telecommunication device (3). The invention also relates to An external device (8) comprising a second connector (31) to be attached to a first connector (7) of a headset (2), means (9, 10) for connecting the external device (8) to a personal computer (4) with a softphone installed on it, a controller (36) adapted to send a call transfer control signal to the softphone, when the first connector (7) is unplugged from the second connector (31), whereby an active call on the first telecommunication device (4) is transferred to a second telecommunication device (6).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for optimizing noise cancellation in a headset, the headset comprising a headphone and a microphone unit comprising at least a first microphone and a second microphone, the method comprising: generating at least a first audio signal from the at least first microphone, where the first audio signal comprises a speech portion from a user of the headset and a noise portion from the surroundings; generating at least a second audio signal from the at least second microphone, where the second audio signal comprises a speech portion from the user of the headset and a noise portion from the surroundings; generating a noise cancelled output by filtering and summing at least a part of the first audio signal and at least a part of the second audio signal, where the filtering is adaptively configured to continually minimize the power of the noise cancelled output, and where the filtering is adaptively configured to continually provide that at least the amplitude spectrum of the speech portion of the noise cancelled output corresponds to the speech portion of a reference audio signal generated from at least one of the microphones.
Abstract:
A method of and a system for synchronizing isochronous audio data frames provided by a USB interface to a clock of a wireless RF communication device is provided. The USB interface and the wireless RF communication device are connected via an I2S link, the method comprising receiving the isochronous audio data frames and the wireless RF communication device clock in a streaming controller, phase locking the isochronous audio data frames to a USB interface clock, counting start-of-frame pulses of the phase locked isochronous audio data frames, comparing the counted start-of-frame pulses with the wireless RF communication device clock to determine a difference signal, the difference signal triggering a synchronization event code when a threshold difference has been reached, rate matching the isochronous audio data frames to the wireless RF communication device clock upon receiving the synchronization event code.
Abstract:
Disclosed are audio accessory devices and systems for being connected to one or more user devices and related methods. The system comprises an audio accessory device having at least one speaker and being configured to connect to at least one user device for providing audio from the user device to the audio accessory device and a computer program application accessible from the at least one user device. A verification ID is provided external of the audio accessory device and comprises audio accessory device identification information identifying a specific audio accessory device. The system furthermore comprises a user interface facilitating interaction between a user of the audio accessory device and the user device, and allows for user facilitated entering of the verification ID. A verification server may be configured to receive the verification ID from the user device and to verify the user device for use with the computer program application, if the verification ID is valid.
