    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a tensioner that has a reduced number of components and weight, and is easy to assemble. The tensioner has a base member loosely fitted into an open rear end of a cylindrical plunger with a closed front end against the resiliency of a biasing means accommodated inside the plunger. The tensioner includes a plunger stopper mechanism configured such that an engaging part formed on the base member detachably engages an engaging groove provided on an inner circumferential surface of the plunger directly or via another member.

    Abstract: Provided is a chain power transmission mechanism and a silent chain each having a simple configuration, easy to manufacture, and capable of reducing noise in the entire chain power transmission mechanism. Link plates of the silent chain include an inner-flank-engagement link plate which engages with a sprocket in an inner flank engagement mode and an outer-flank-engagement link plate which engages with the sprocket in an outer flank engagement mode. The inner-flank-engagement link plate and the outer-flank-engagement link plate are arranged such that combinations of the link plates at positions where engagement with and disengagement from a plurality of the sprockets are synchronized include a combination in which at least one of the link plates is different in engagement mode from another link plate.

    Abstract: To provide a tensioner capable of keeping oil pressure in an oil pressure chamber stable with a simple structure. The tensioner is equipped with a pressure adjusting mechanism that adjusts oil pressure in the oil pressure chamber and includes an adjustment space formed in a housing and communicating with the oil pressure chamber, a movable member disposed such as to be movable to and from the oil pressure chamber, and a pressure adjusting biasing unit that biases the movable member toward the oil pressure chamber. A liquid tight seal is maintained between the movable member and an inner wall of the adjustment space, between a position where the movable member has moved closest to the oil pressure chamber and a position where the movable member is farthest from the oil pressure chamber.

    Abstract: A low-temperature storage system 100 is provided, which can, with a simple structure, minimize heat transfer into the low-temperature storage chamber, reduce the operation noise, allow easy positioning of a reciprocating part inside the low-temperature storage chamber, and preclude device bulkiness outside the low-temperature storage chamber. The external unit 140 includes a torque transmission part 141, a lift transmission part 147, and a detachable moving part 150 that drives the torque transmission part 141 and lift transmission part 147.

The ring control mechanism includes a front-side restricting part having a front-side restricting surface and capable of restricting forward movement of the resilient ring, and a rear-side restriction member having a rear-side restricting surface and capable of restricting rearward movement of the resilient ring. The front-side restricting part is fixed to or formed integrally with the housing. The rear-side restriction member is disposed movable in a front to back direction relative to the housing and the plunger.
