    Abstract: While concurrently displaying representations of a plurality of recently used applications, including a first application representation that corresponds to a first application and a second application representation that corresponds to a second application, at least a first portion of a first user input, including first movement of an input object, is detected. If the first movement of the input object includes movement in a first direction that meets first criteria, the representations of the plurality of recently used applications cease to be displayed and an application launching user interface is displayed. If the first movement of the input object includes movement in a second direction that meets second criteria, the representations of the plurality of recently used applications cease to be displayed and a first user interface of the first application is displayed in an enhanced-reachability mode and shifted in a predefined direction at least partially off of the display.

    Abstract: An electronic device displays, on a display, a user interface that includes first and second interactive regions of an application. While displaying the user interface, the device detects an input by a contact on the touch-sensitive surface at a location that corresponds to a user interface element in the first interactive region on the display. In response to detecting the input by the contact, when the input meets intensity-based activation criteria (e.g., the contact has a characteristic intensity above an intensity threshold), the device obscures the first interactive region of the application with the exception of the user interface element without obscuring the second interactive region of the application. When the input meets selection criteria (e.g., the contact has a characteristic intensity below the intensity threshold), the device performs a selection operation that corresponds to the user interface element without obscuring the first interactive region of the application.

    Abstract: In response to a substantially stationary input directed to a user interface object on a first user interface: if the input does not meet an input threshold, the device, after detecting an end of the input, replaces display of the first user interface with a second user interface corresponding to the user interface object; if the input meets the input threshold and does not meet a greater, second input threshold, the device displays, after detecting the end of the input, a first respective user interface region that includes information corresponding to the user interface object overlaying a portion of the first user interface; and if the input meets the greater, second input threshold, the device displays, prior to detecting the end of the input, the first respective user interface region that includes information corresponding to the user interface object overlaying a portion of the first user interface.
