The light beam forms a beam spot on the photosensitive plane. The beam spot includes a +first-order light area in which zero-order and +first-order light rays, diffracted by a track on the disk, are superposed, −first-order light area in which zero-order and −first-order light rays are superposed, and a zero-order light area which is sandwiched between the +first-order and −first-order light areas, includes neither the +first-order nor −first-order light ray, but includes a zero-order light ray. The photodetector generates the detection signals except for light entering an opaque area provided for at least part of the zero-order light area.

    摘要: A Czerny-Turner spectroscope according to the present invention includes: a collimator mirror having a toroidal surface for reflecting a beam of light passing through an entrance slit to a plane diffraction grating; and a telemeter mirror having a cylindrical surface for reflecting and converging the beam of light reflected and separated by the plane diffraction grating to an exit. When a slit is placed at the exit, the straight generatrix is set substantially parallel to the exit slit. When a linear object (such as the separation channel of the capillary electrophoresis microchip) to receive a part of the spectrum of light reflected by the telemeter is placed at the exit, the linear object is set parallel to the straight generatrix. By this construction and configuration, the curving of monochromatic spectrum component at the exit is minimized, and the monochromatic light produced by the inventive Czerny-Turner spectroscope can pass the exit slit in full. Thus, when used, as the detector of a capillary electrophoresis microchip, stability and reproducibility of capillary electrophoresis measurements are achieved.

Subsequently, the operation is switched to application of a separation voltage between a buffer reservoir and a drain reservoir, for beginning analysis. When the analysis has begun, a detector detects a migration pattern in the separation passage, so that a signal processing board data-processes the detected pattern.

    摘要: A shutter mechanism, employed in a camera, is provided having a pair of blade members pivoted about a point. The blade members are moved between a position where the light path is completely shielded and another position where light is allowed to pass through. Each of the blade members has a gear portion, and gear members transmit a driving force from a pulse motor to the gear portions to move the blade members toward and away from each other. Further, the width of the pulses to be applied to the motor is varied corresponding to the revolution of the motor, and the phase of the pulse is temporarily reversed corresponding to certain aperture values. Furthermore, a reverse rotation pulse is applied to the motor at the end of the revolution of the motor for preventing the motor from overrunning. When the blade members are moved to form the opening corresponding to a predetermined aperture value, another pulse is applied to the motor for the period of time corresponding to exposure time in order to hold the opening for the period of time.
