Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support closed-loop transmit power control (TPC) for user equipment (UE) sidelink communications. TPC information may be provided, by a first UE receiving transmissions from a second UE, with respect to a sidelink implemented between the UEs. TPC information may be multiplexed with sidelink data traffic in a sidelink communication between UEs. The TPC information may include a TPC indicator and one or more TPC messages for providing TPC commands with respect to one or more sidelinks. The sidelink data traffic of some examples may include data-only traffic, such as semi-persistent scheduled (SPS) data traffic, that is decoupled from accompanying sidelink control information (SCI). Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first downlink control information (DCI) message which schedules a sidelink transmission from the first UE to a second UE on a first set of resources associated with a sidelink shared channel. The first UE may additionally receive a second DCI which indicates a second set of resources which are cancelled from the first set of resources. Based on the cancellation indication, the first UE may modify or cancel at least a portion of the sidelink transmission originally scheduled for the second UE, and may transmit the modified sidelink transmission over a portion of the first set of resources in accordance with the cancellation indication, the first DCI, and the second DCI.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may alter, or otherwise cancel, a sidelink communication as a result of a cancelation indicator (CI) corresponding to a different UE to support automatic gain control (AGC) calibration. The UE may determine to cancel or alter sidelink resources that at least partially overlap in time and are adjacent to, yet non-overlapping, in frequency to a high priority transmission. In some implementations, the UE may cancel the sidelink communication from an earliest overlapping symbol to the end of a slot. In other implementations, the UE may cancel a portion of the sidelink communication and resume sidelink communications within the same slot. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may utilize one or more reference signals or symbols to enable AGC recalibration during the slot.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a wireless device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a base station) may transmit a set of data messages to a set of UEs, the set of data messages including one or more data messages for each UE of the set of UEs. Each UE may select a respective sequence representing feedback associated with the one or more data messages, the sequence being selected from a sequence pool that includes a first plurality of sequences representing acknowledgement feedback and a second plurality of sequences representing negative acknowledgement feedback, individual sequences of at least the second set of sequences being non-orthogonal to each other. Each UE may transmit the respective selected sequence to the wireless device via a shared set of time and frequency resources that are shared for feedback messages from the set of UEs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support resource utilization based event triggering. A wireless node in a wireless communications system may establish a connection with a core network via a path that includes one or more relay nodes. The wireless node may determine that a network load associated with one or more paths between the wireless node and the core network has changed, or that a difference between two or more network loads of different paths has changed. Based on such a determination, the wireless node may transmit a report to the network. In some cases, the network may receive the report from the wireless node, and may initiate a path change based on the report.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) resource allocation operations. A transmit (TX) user equipment (UE) transmit a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) that indicates an allocated PSSCH resource portion. In a first aspect, the portion includes two non-contiguous subchannels. In a second aspect, the PSCCH indicates a layer or a node of a layer of a resource allocation layer structure. In a third aspect, the PSCCH indicates a subchannel group size for an allocated resource, using a bitmask or a value that corresponds to a subchannel and a group size combination. In a fourth aspect, the TX UE determines the portion based multiple values of subchannel and length combinations, the multiple values determined by disabling one or more combinations of a total number of subchannel and length combination for contiguous allocation, or for contiguous and non-contiguous allocation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmission of periodic messages via one or more sidelinks are described. SPS for a sidelink groupcast may be activated and/or deactivated using SPS control signaling for the sidelink groupcast. SPS control signaling utilized for activating/deactivating SPS for a sidelink groupcast may include a SPS indicator (e.g., conveyed at least in part via SCI format 0-1 message), an activation/deactivation indicator (e.g., conveyed at least in part via SCI format 0-1 message and/or SCI format 0-2 message), and/or a configuration index (e.g., conveyed at least in part via SCI format 0-1 message and/or SCI format 0-2 message).
