摘要: The invention provides a method of interactively crawling data records on a web page. Users may select various data records of interest on a web page to generate templates to search for similar data items on the same web page or on different web pages. A tree matching algorithm may be used to compare and extract data matching the generated template.

摘要: A system for separating text and drawings in a digital ink file (e.g., a handwritten digital ink file). A stroke analyzer classifies single strokes that have been input by a user as “text” or “unknown.” The stroke analyzer utilizes a trainable classifier, such as a support vector machine. A grouping component is provided that groups text strokes in an attempt to form text objects (e.g., words, characters, or letters). The grouping component also groups unknown strokes in an attempt to form objects (e.g., shapes, drawings, or even text). A trainable classifier, such as a support vector machine, evaluates the grouped strokes to determine if they are objects.

摘要: A system and method for detection of a list in ink input is provided. A detector is provided that may detect a list such as a bulleted or numbered list of items in ink input. A group of lines may first be selected as a candidate list. Indentation level clustering and bullet detection may then be performed to determine the structure of the list. Bullet detection may be performed by detecting bullet partners, which are pairs of lines at the same indentation level that may begin with bullet candidates with similar features. The features of the bullet candidates in a pair of lines may be used to determine the likelihood of whether the pair of lines may be bullet partners. Finally, the structure of the list may be determined, including the relationship among the list items.

摘要: An antialiasing method and apparatus suitable for antialiasing a variety of image types, including fonts, large images, and very small images. The antialiasing technique may represent the edge of a line, curve or region as a series of line segments. These line segments are then traversed to convolute the line segment approximating the contours of the image with a desired filter function. A filter function is also disclosed for antialiasing the edges of a line, curve or region, which may be employed when the edge is represented by a series of line segments. The antialiasing filter tends to centers the spectral energy of an image on the sampled area.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to decoding encoded barcode information from a series of camera-captured images by generating binarized sequences from the series of camera-captured images and decoding the encoded barcode information from the binarized sequences. A series of preprocessed images is generated from the series of camera-captured images by removing non-uniform illumination, reducing noise, and enhancing contrast between bars and spaces of the series of camera-captured images. Barcode-image orientations are estimated for the series of preprocessed images. The series of preprocessed images are projected along their respective barcode-image orientations to generate a series of gray-sequence images that represent barcode information in one dimension. The binarized sequences, each of which contains partial barcode information, are connected into a concatenated sequence according to computed shift information of neighboring binarized sequences.

摘要: Systems and methods that determine a path of a pen tip as the pen tip is moved across a document are described. The document is watermarked with a maze pattern from which encoded position information is determined. A sequence of images is captured by a camera that is located in a pen. The path of the pen tip is determined by decoding the associated maze pattern and by matching the captured images with document images. If the position coordinates of any frame that is associated with a stroke cannot be determined from m-array decoding, the frames are transformed and then matched with an area of a document image. Once the position coordinates of at least one frame is determined, the position coordinates of other frames are determined by matching the frames in a neighboring area.
