    摘要: In an image forming system, a lifetime management device calculates remaining lifetime of process units, a transfer unit, a secondary transfer unit, a belt cleaning unit and a fixing unit mounted on an image forming apparatus based on an operation amount thereof and a predetermined lifetime index. Based on the remaining lifetime and a predetermined replacement index, the lifetime management device determines whether any unit needs to be replaced, and, if any, transmits a replacement request signal to an external information processor together with a signal indicating remaining lifetime of other units via a communication line.

    摘要: Process units, a transfer unit, a belt cleaning unit, a secondary transfer unit and a fixing unit each include a storage unit that stores therein information on the operation amount thereof measured by a controller as operation record with respect to each unit. The controller updates the information stored in the storage unit after each time the controller measures the operation amount. The controller calculates remaining lifetime of the units based on the operation amount and a predetermined lifetime index.

    摘要: A cam pin (16) and a demating prevention pin (35) that are provided in a driving frame (15) and have an identical shape are allowed to mate with a cam groove (18) and a demating prevention groove (36) that are provided in a cam frame (17), respectively. A first protrusion (37) is provided on at least one side in an optical axis direction of a portion of the demating prevention groove (36) with which the demating prevention pin (35) mates when the driving frame (15) is advanced. When an external force is applied to the driving frame (15), a cylindrical portion (35f) of the demating prevention pin (35) and the first protrusion (37) come into contact with each other. This prevents the cam pin (16) from demating from the cam groove (18). The cam pin (16) and the demating prevention pin (35) are made of common components, making it possible to reduce the number of components.

    摘要: There is disclosed a microchip reactor-type apparatus for effecting organic synthesis and reactions. The apparatus can be used in combination with many analytical instruments. The apparatus has a magnet for producing a static magnetic field for NMR measurements, a sample tube placed within the static magnetic field and holding a deuterated solvent therein, and a microchip reactor inserted inside the sample tube. A sample solution to be investigated is introduced into the channel formed in the microchip reactor while the microchip reactor is inserted inside the sample tube holding the deuterated solvent therein.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a cleaning device, and a toner transporting device. The photoconductor has a toner image formed thereon. The cleaning device removes toner remaining on the photoconductor. The toner transporting device transports the toner removed by the cleaning device. The toner transporting device includes a first toner transport path forming member, a first toner transporting member, and a length control member. The first toner transporting member is partly provided in the first toner transport path forming member, expands and contracts in a length direction thereof, and transports the toner through the first toner transport path forming member. The length control member is provided at a downstream end of the first toner transport path forming member, and is pressed against the first toner transporting member to keep a constant length of the first toner transporting member. An image forming method is also described.

The actuator (6) is attached to a portion in the cam frame (17) where the cam grooves are not formed. The first lens group (L1) is moved using the cam grooves, and the second lens group (L2) is moved using the actuator (6), so that a faster zooming speed and a lower zooming noise can be achieved.

    摘要: An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus that includes process units for different colors and a lifetime management device that manages lifetime information on each unit of the image forming apparatus. The lifetime management device counts the number of prints produced by the image forming apparatus with respect to each of photoconductor units and developing units in the process units, and measures an operation amount unique to the respective units. Based on the number of prints, service life of each unit and operation amount, the lifetime management device calculates the remaining lifetime of each unit.
