摘要： An optical fingerprint image input device for a mobile apparatus includes: a plate-shaped fingerprint contact member; a distortion correcting member for correcting distortions; light sources disposed at both sides of the fingerprint contact member, other than an inclined surface or a back light source in a liquid crystal display element; focusing means disposed at an inclined surface side of the distortion correcting member; and an image sensor. In other words, the fingerprint contact member and the distortion correcting member having respective set-up inclined angles are disposed to discern sweat, water or oil and to correct a trapezoidal distortion which is a disadvantage that occurs when a thin fingerprint contact medium is used, and to form a lens system comprised of a cylindrical lens and a spherical lens for adjustment of a ratio of transversal to longitudinal widths of an image. By this configuration, problems generated by the thin optical fingerprint input device can be overcome to minimize the loss of information necessary for fingerprint verification and a region of used image sensor can be established in consideration of a design to be capable of obtaining fingerprint information of a high resolution. Furthermore, as a thin optical fingerprint input device can be embodied, the present invention can be applied to a mobile apparatus like a cellular phone, and a conventional secrecy-maintaining function performed by a secret number can be replaced by fingerprint information to thereby increase the secrecy of the mobile apparatus.

The washing machine ensures the washing condition suitable to wash the delicate fabrics even when the temperature in the drum is elevated due to the earlier washing operation, and then performs the washing operation of the delicate fabrics, thereby preventing damage to the delicate fabrics due to shrinkage and deformation.

摘要： A plasma display panel includes barrier ribs disposed between a front substrate and a rear substrate and define discharge cells. Sustain electrode pairs are disposed on the front substrate. Address electrodes are disposed on the rear substrate in a direction to cross the length direction of the sustain electrode pairs. A front dielectric layer covers the sustain electrode pairs, and has grooves formed in a direction parallel to the length direction of the sustain electrode pairs such that the grooves have slopes in a direction from the rear substrate towards the front substrate with ends of the sustain electrode pairs being located on a lower surface of the front substrate where shadows of the slopes are cast. A rear dielectric layer covers the address electrodes. Phosphor layers are coated in the discharge cells and a discharge gas fills the discharge cells.

摘要： A method of coding a moving picture is provided that reduces blocking artifacts. The method can include defining a plurality of defining pixels S0, S1, and S2, which are centered around a block boundary. If a default mode is selected then frequency information of the surroundings of the block boundary is obtained. A magnitude of a discontinuous component in a frequency domain belonging to the block boundary is adjusted based on a magnitude of a corresponding discontinuous component selected from a pixel contained entirely within a block adjacent the block boundary. The frequency domain adjustment is then applied to a spatial domain. Or, a DC offset mode can be selected to reduce blocking artifacts in smooth regions where there is little motion.
