摘要: A superconducting magnet system having two-stage quenching. A primary coil assembly includes a coil section configured to be superconducting when conducting current below a first critical current. An EMI shielding coil assembly includes a coil section configured to be superconducting when conducting current below a second critical current, which is electrically coupled to a variable resistor configured to be superconducting when conducting current below a third critical current and to be non-superconducting when conducting current at or above the third critical current that is less than both the first and second critical currents. Generating a magnetic flux within the EMI shielding coil assembly causes the current conducted through the variable resistor to exceed the third critical current, quenching the variable resistor and generating heat. The EMI shielding coil assembly is disposed such that the heat from the variable resistor quenches the primary coil assembly.

摘要: Systems/techniques that facilitate correction of intra-scan focal-spot displacement are provided. In various embodiments, a system can access a first gantry angle of a medical scanner. In various aspects, the system can determine a first displacement of a focal-spot of the medical scanner based on the first gantry angle, by referencing a mapping that correlates gantry angles to focal-spot displacements. In various instances, the system can compensate, via one or more focal-spot position adjusters of the medical scanner, for the first displacement.

摘要: Various methods and systems are provided for a medical imaging system. In one embodiment, a method comprises generating cardiac ultrasound images from ultrasound imaging data of a heart, excluding pericardium depicted in the cardiac ultrasound images, and calculating strain values of a myocardium region of interest in the cardiac ultrasound images while excluding the pericardium depicted in the cardiac ultrasound images. In this way, the strain values may be calculated more accurately by not including information from the non-contractile pericardium.

摘要: A gate driver circuit includes an isolated gate driver power supply circuit. The isolated gate driver power supply circuit includes a coreless transformer including a primary winding and a secondary winding. The secondary winding is wound about a toroid-shaped, non-magnetic body and the primary winding is a single turn primary winding to reduce capacitance coupling between the primary winding and the secondary winding. The isolated gate driver power supply circuit also includes a resonance converter coupled to the coreless transformer, wherein the resonance converter is configured to enable the isolated gate driver power supply circuit to generate an output voltage independent of load.

摘要: An apparatus comprising an inflatable member, a sensor and a controller. The inflatable member is configured to apply pressure to a portion of a body of a patient and is configured to be placed in a deflated configuration, a first inflated configuration, and a second inflated configuration. A pressure within the inflatable member when the inflatable member is in the second inflated configuration is greater than a pressure within the inflatable member when the inflatable member is in the first inflated configuration. The sensor is configured to detect vibration. The controller is operatively coupled to the sensor and to the inflatable member. The controller is configured to prevent the inflatable member from being placed in the second inflated configuration in response to the sensor detecting vibrations indicating movement of the body of the patient while the inflatable member is in the first inflated configuration.
