摘要: Systems and methods for processing, transmitting and displaying data received from an analyte sensor, such as a glucose sensor, are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for transmitting data between a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor and a second communication device configured to provide user access to sensor-related information comprises activating a transceiver of a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor at a first time. The method also includes establishing a two-way communication channel with the second communication device. The activating comprises waking the transceiver from a low power sleep mode using a forced wakeup from the second communication device.

摘要: A radiation reduction system that includes a computer and an imaging device configured to provide an image of a subject during a medical procedure using electromagnetic radiation. A variety of inputs are accepted from the medical practitioner using the computer such as subject body type, weight, and the like. These user inputs are used by the computer to determine operating settings that are transmitted to the imaging device either manually, a wired connection or wirelessly. The calculated settings are useful to generate one or more medically useful images of the subject while significantly reducing the overall radiation exposure to the subject and/or the personnel and/or medical practitioner.

摘要: An identification system identifies a new infusion device that moved into a predetermined area associated with an active infusion device currently performing an ongoing infusion of a medication to a patient and, responsive to that identifying, determines that an orientation of the new infusion device is indicative of the new infusion device arriving to replace or supplement the active infusion device. Responsive to determining the orientation, the system automatically programs the new infusion device with settings currently being used by the active infusion device in the ongoing infusion of the medication to the patient, without user input of the settings, and the new infusion device is activated to initiate a new infusion or to continue the ongoing infusion of the medication based on the automatically programmed settings.

摘要: Medical devices and related systems and methods are provided. A method of estimating a physiological condition using a first sensing arrangement involves obtaining a sensor translation model associated with a relationship between the first sensing arrangement and a second sensing arrangement, wherein the second sensing arrangement is different from the first sensing arrangement, obtaining one or more measurements from a sensing element coupled to the processing system of the first sensing arrangement, determining simulated measurement data for the second sensing arrangement by applying the sensor translation model to the one or more measurements from the sensing element of the first sensing arrangement, and determining an estimated value for the physiological condition by applying an estimation model associated with the second sensing arrangement to the simulated measurement data.

摘要: Object information is received via an application programming interface (API) from a requesting computing device. The object information is (a) extracted from a machine-readable code associated with the object, or (b) derived from information extracted from the machine-readable code associated with the object. A non-sequential parsing process is performed to the object information to identify one or more values for one or more fields of a plurality of unique fields. Performing the non-sequential parsing process includes applying a plurality of regular expressions to the object information to identify the one or more values. Each of the plurality of regular expressions is configured to identify values for at least one field of the plurality of unique fields. For each of the one or more values, a data object is that comprises the value and information indicative of the field for the value.

摘要: A system and method to determine characteristics of surgical related items and procedure related items present for use in the perioperative period. The system and method may apply computer vision for determining status and tracking of the surgical related items and procedure related items, as well as related clinical, logistical and operational events in the perioperative period. The system and method provides for an intuitive, automated, and transparent tracking of sterile surgical items (SSI) such as single-use, sterile surgical supplies (SUSSS) and sterile surgical instruments, and quantification of SSI waste. In doing so, the system and method empowers administrators to reduce costs and surgeons to demonstrate usage of important equipment. The system and method removes the guesswork from monitoring and minimizing SSI waste and puts the emphasis on necessity and efficiency.

摘要: Embodiments relate to a medical station deployable at various locations with expandable plug-in software and hardware components. The medical station includes access control features that limit a person's entry for use as well as restricting software or hardware components that the person may use. Actuators in the medical station are operated so that the person may use the components in a timely and adequate manner. Some of the actuators are provided in drawer assemblies that are operated to provide the person or human assistant access to medical supplies or tools.

摘要: Described herein are centralized control methods comprising steps such as receiving past behavior of a plurality of functional variables, determining a forecast of future behavior, providing modified behavior of functional variables predicted to result in optimized behavior of process performance indicators, and transmitting the modified behavior of the functional variables. Also described are methods for assigning a pathology datum to a digital patient report. Systems and devices for executing the methods are also described.

摘要: Systems and methods for orthopedic surgery on a bone are described herein. A system may include a cut guide to be positioned onto the bone, the cut guide comprising a guide body configured to be coupled to the bone, the guide body having a bone-facing surface and a guide member configured to guide a cutting tool along a planned planar cutting trajectory, wherein the cut guide comprises at least two landing members configured to position the cut guide onto the bone, wherein each landing member comprises a structure separate from the guide body and fixable onto the bone-facing surface of the guide body so as to couple the guide body onto the bone. The system may further include a processing device configured to generate a cut guide positioning plan, wherein the cut guide positioning plan is generated at least in part using a bone model.
