摘要: A ringing suppression circuit connected to a transmission line to suppress ringing caused by the transmission line transmitting a differential signal using a pair of signal lines, the differential signal varying between a high level and a low level, the pair of signal lines including a high potential signal line and a low potential signal line, the ringing suppression circuit including: an inter-line switching element that is connected between the pair of signal lines; a control portion that performs a ringing suppression operation in response to detecting a level change in the differential signal, wherein the ringing suppression operation turns on the inter-line switching element to decrease an impedance between the pair of signal lines; and a suppression operation prohibiting portion that prohibits the control portion from performing the ringing suppression operation in response to detecting a signal caused by a signal on the transmission line.

The third and fifth transistors are controlled by an output, or an inversion thereof, of the latch circuit.

摘要: In aspects, the present invention discloses a method of determining an electrical operating time of a circuit breaker (140) in a multiphase electrical system having a subsystem (160) connectable to a power source (110) through a circuit breaker (140) operated by a controller (130). The controller is connected to a current transformer (120, 150) for measuring current of the subsystem in a one phase. The method comprises monitoring the current of the subsystem in the one phase, determining a first rate of change from the monitored current in the one phase, detecting an instance of switching in an another phase based on the first rate of change, and determining an electrical operating time of the circuit breaker in the another phase based on the detected instance of switching and an instance at which a command for switching in the another phase was provided to the circuit breaker.

摘要: A semiconductor device includes a first transistor, a second transistor coupled in parallel with the first transistor, and a first parasitic inductance between an emitter of the first transistor and an emitter of the second transistor. The semiconductor device includes a first circuit configured to provide a first gate driver signal to the first transistor based on a common driver signal and a second circuit configured to provide a second gate driver signal to the second transistor based on the common driver signal. The first circuit and the second circuit are configured to compensate for a voltage drop across the first parasitic inductance such that the first gate driver signal and the second gate driver signal are in phase with and at the same magnitude as the common driver signal.

摘要: A bidirectional power switch includes first and second thyristors connected in antiparallel between first and second conduction terminals of the switch. The first thyristor is of an anode-gate thyristor, and the second thyristor is of a cathode-gate thyristor. The gates of the first and second thyristors are coupled to a same control terminal of the switch by respective dipole circuits. At least one of the dipole circuits is formed by at least one diode or at least one resistor.

摘要: A backflow preventing device includes a backflow preventing element that is connected between a power supply and a load and that prevents electric current from flowing backward from the load side toward the power supply side, a commutating device that performs a commutation operation for causing the electric current to flow to a commutation path connected in parallel with the backflow preventing element, and a controller that sets a time for performing the commutation operation and causes the commutating device to perform the commutation operation based on the set time. The backflow preventing device has a plurality of the commutation paths and has, for example, elements with small current-carrying capacities disposed in the commutation paths to achieve cost reduction and to cope with, for example, failures, thereby allowing for enhanced reliability for reducing recovery electric current.
